  • Truly great, they really were out on their own.. i don't think you will ever see anything like them ever again (more's the pity) especially Viv Stanshall.. i won't call him an eccentric as he hated that description.. let's just say that he was a very unique individual indeed, of the kind that you only ever seem to find here in the UK.. a real Renaissance man!

  • @miseryguts43

thanks for the cool comment. I can tell you, he hated being called 'Viv' too.. a truly unique and eccentric British band.

  • I love this! They're so funny and amazing at what they do, I'm jealous of whoever was in the audience there. (:

  • hahahahaa! 2:17-2:39! hahaha roger and rodney!

  • look at rodney slater in the back from 1:20-1:30 hahahahahahaaa! by the way, pause @ 0:25! hahahahaaa

  • I'd forgotten the split trousers! WONDERFUL! In order to get a train carriage to himself, Viv would stand at the door saying "Come in . . . COME IN!"

  • By jove, he was a genius

  • @eruptionista Viv is now known as the "Peter Cook" of rock and roll comedy. They both died the same year, two months apart in 1995. Peter Cook died in January '95, Stanshall early March.

To think that Viv Stanshall, and Keith Moon went out of their way to: 1) Stage an argument over a pair of trousers,t they split in half,

    2) Make the local tailor look silly when a one legged man ( a hired actor) walks in to buy one side of the trousers.
