I was blessed that I saw her at the Met in this opera!!!and many others,she was always sensational even though there was a group of queens that were always on their high horse with the Callas thang!!(I enjoy what I see if don't like something I don't gosee it) THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FABULOUS YRS,MONTSERRAT,LOVE YOU!!!

Brava! Sublimé! This is one of the most ludicrous and hysterically funny moments in all opera. Montserrat could never do anything wrong, and here she ennobles the deliciously delirious, über-kitsch ADRIANA. Okay, okay………it has a few really good tunes, and will always be my favorite terrible opera!

Subime. Con Caballé me pasa ago curioso: soy capaz de percibir todas esas "cosas" que provocan que a algunos se les indigeste como intérprete, pero, aún así, a mí, lejos de provocarme esa reacción, reafirman mi visión de la diva como un universo musical en sí mismo, que por más que tome a veces caminos poco rtodoxos, finalmente acaba siendo armónico, personal, único y, para colmo, sublime y condenadamente bello.

¿Alguien sabe la razón de de corte de "son vendicata" ?

I think it's one of the best versions of this recitative. I think it's not too exagerated and it's very impressive. But I didn't hear Kabaivanska in this role.

Totally agreed. Recitar (mentre presa del delirio) is not her cup of tea, definitely. Too exagerated, no center. She shoots words without any control and idea for dramatic "pumping".
