I wish it was running but chronic electrical issues means that it isn't firing on both cylinders. I'm thinking the coils are bad as the spark really isn't all that strong. My friend and I will be figuring out this puzzle this winter.
That's great to hear and very kind of your great grandfather. These are great bikes though I must say I am having quite the time diagnosing the ignition system on mine. If only electronic ignition didn't cost more than I paid for the bike! I have a feeling a bit of time,patience and help from a good friend of mine will see this bike running correctly again. If you have a chance post a video of your new bike. Congratulations!
how does it run nicely, if you planned to get it running tomorrow? it looks good tho..
