I don't understand why this sport is not more popular. This should be in the Olympics, especially when you consider some of the strange events (like horse riding--the horse is doing the hard work!) that actually are. I could easily see this as a summer olympic event.

What's with all the hate?? I'm a figure skater AND an artistic roller skater. Both sports are beautiful and have different things to offer. It's weird comparing them because they are so similar. Just watch and enjoy. Tanja is an amazing skater (though this program wasn't her best performance...)

Markoperzona: Your response is very immature to use the word hate. I am a roller skater and love our sport. But the truth is the truth: world and Olympic ice champs use much more intricate footwork than roller champs and, instead of ugly comments like yours, we can learn from them.

Too many "soppy" hand movements. She needs to learn from ice skaters who interpret the music by actually doing intricate footwork that also involves the whole body.
