The audio skips as well so maybe try a higher quality memory card, is this memory card sd or sdhc? Really odd problem, slap it around a few times or re-seat the memory card, blow into card slot to make sure there is no dust?

did u really solve ist with a faster card? class 2 is 2 mb/s and the video bitrate is really far from that. i have an other version of the cam with bigger yellow date. i have very less dropped frames with class4 card. the wired thing: it makes 4mb/ in cardreader but 8mb/s in the cam. perhaps i will give it a try with class 6.

A Class 6 card worked fine after this - although I found the quality not taht good so ended up with a 1080P Kodak Zi8

Very good camcorder, but instead of the video recording being audio triggered, it should've been motion triggered. I hope the manufacturer realizes this.

spot on advice sinex29.. i had same jerky picture with my MD90 Mini DV until i bought a 4MB SDHC Class 6 Micro SD card from Tandy Electronics today 17.10.09. Problem solved...Thanks heaps
