@billy6668 I've got both for 360 and can say that Dragon Rising is generally better and more realistic, better graphics and feels more open. But RR is actually part accessible to the new so to begin with i'd recommend that (I played RR first). DR can get frustrating, I used to play MoH all the time before I got it so I just wasn't ready, but you do get better the more you play them (honest). I think they both rock though, (and i'm only 13 lol) DR would be even better if it truly were open world!

The allied AI is a bit dependant on your orders. I'm sure this seems realistic, but I doubt your fireteam would just stand around in the open while getting shot at without trying to at least take cover in real life. I can't seem to find anyone playing online, and none of my friends have this game, so I can't play co-op.

guys I have a problem, I play on PC and when I hit a control, there is a small period of time before it actually does it. Like say I hit W to move, literally a second later it will do it. Any fix?
I am surprised codemasters had the fucking balls to even call this operation flashpoint 2, It was a different production team all together. The original OFP team went on to make the brilliantly realistic arma and arma 2. this game is good enough as a war sim but to call it OFP2 is fucking rich and it is not that good to be even compared to OFP/arma and arma 2.

I fucking hated this game. I was looking forward to a good authentic tactical experience on xbox but the glitches offline and on were just game breaking for me.
And the missions were completely rambo. You werent part of a major offensive, you WERE the offensive. You and your squad basically fight the war all by yourselves so the whole feeling of being in a vast warzone is completely cast aside once you realise theres noone else there.

The original OFP team went on to make the brilliantly realistic arma and arma 2. this game is good enough as a war sim but to call it OFP2 is fucking rich and it is not that good to be even compared to OFP/arma and arma 2.

I am a PC/console gamer myself, and i'm getting really tired of all you self-proclaimed 'experts' always saying things like 'ooh console gamers are too lazy to memorize all those key assignments' or like here, "may get frustrated too soon". I fucking hated this game. I was looking forward to a good authentic tactical experience on xbox but the glitches offline and on were just game breaking for me.
And the missions were completely rambo. You werent part of a major offensive, you WERE the offensive. You and your squad basically fight the war all by yourselves so the whole feeling of being in a vast warzone is completely cast aside once you realise theres noone else there.
Original OF was vastly better.

@addictedtors24 Not by a long shot mate.. Arma is 100s of times more realistic than this.. This game is a good all rounder. It is as arcade as a supposed war sim can get. the original arma is more realistic than this game. And arma 2 is the best war sim ever created.

@Scar8632 I looked at a bunch of Arma 2 videos earlier and the voice acting sound WAY too retarded for me...
I only played OFP DR so far and I freaking love it. I was about to kill myself becuz I thought COD 4 will be as far as shooter games will gets, till I found out about open world military games like these I tear in joy...

@akira357 It's cause the voice acting is done by the actual Community. Arma 2 is actually a simulation, not really a game such as COD.
