@cpmondello Did you know that Louisiana is probably one of the most "socialist" states but votes Republican. 86% of whites voted against Obama in the 2008 election. That number is about the same as what the Dixiecrats received in the 1960's. When the Democrats were conservative in the South 70% of the South voted Democrat.
