Most songs are metaphors because its a way of expression. and im pretty sure a grand majority of people have been with some1 at 1 point in time that didnt treat them like they should have, moved on to some1 who did, but still look back at the other person because they loved them. Sometimes ppl do find that great person in their lives, but they seem to still love the person they left because all they did was harm.
