  • I'm watching this review's for the second time. They are that good.

  • 12:20 LMFAO

  • Every time he says omg i burst out laughing

  • Goddamn Lucas! You can't write a fucking script?

  • Kids like the Star Wars prequels, Just as kids in the 70's (i.e. all you whiny fuckwits) loved the original Star Wars movies. Your childhood was NOT better, just different, get over it you bunch of losers, go get laid already!

  • @Stephanolambdip It's a tounge in cheek review.

    But the prequels are inferior.

    Sorry.

  • Are you Buffalo Bill?

  • Palpatine/Sidious is my 2nd favorite character and I agree, he was basically the only character who really showed any type of passion. But then again, notice that he's also the only character played by the same actor from the originals.....

  • tshi, wow learn something new

  • my creepy notebook !

  • I do like this movie but I think I like it cause I want to like it. Yes it was boring and a lot of shit didn't make sense but it had its moments.

  • From: telegraph.cm.uk

Another impetus for his retirement appears to have been a backlash Lucas received from fans for making changes to the Star Wars films, including introducing extra dialogue for Darth Vader.

Lucas said: "Why would I make any more, when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?"

I think he's finally figured it out.

  • i laughed so hard about the kid part, "Finally the only kid in this film that talks dies, they all die, these are positive changes." LMAO

  • ROFLMAO, "Soon you will learn to appreciate blow."

  • Is the dialog at 7:00 actually in the movie?

  • @DrThunder88 yes it is.

  • @DrThunder88 Word for word.

  • The Milinmillenium Falcon was in this movie.

  • @ 8:30 actually the millennium falcon was in revenge of the sith (although not in a in your face, ruin it moment, it was a cameo). after anakin crash lands on coruscant at the beginning, they get on a transport. when the transport is landing, its on the lower right of the screen, about 22.55 into the movie, i think

  • @53knights good call, was bout to write that.

  • "starving African children in Cambodia"

    Haha!

  • @charlieiscool1000 The prequels sucked in general.

  • LOL this film was easily one of the best star wars films how can anyone call it boring the guy who is reviewing this goes into way much detail that he becomes boring and turns in it into a comedy act Episode lll was much better than attack of the clones which was easily the worst of the six.

  • @charlieiscool1000 FUCKING PUNCTIATION

  • @charlieiscool1000

if Ep3 was better than Ep2 which you yourself call "the worst of the six". then Ep 3 was the second-worst, not "one of the best". by your own logic!

  • Comment removed

  • @Woggyflush Well lot happens in episode lll its not really possible to get bored and if you do then there must be something wrong with you episode ll on the other hand was actually really boring and it was cringe worthy to watch it just got more dull plus the fact Yoda looked too CGI and looked fake not even Christopher lee could save it one could almost go as far as episode 4 to say that was at times that was slightly boring too even if that was the first film that brought the world Starwars.

  • @charlieiscool1000

I never said I was bored in Ep 3. But I was disappointed by it. In fact, by the entire prequel trilogy. I am a fan of the original trilogy.

  • Actually, the Millenium Falcon does appear in Revenge. When the Jedi return to Coruscant at the beginning of the movie, you can see the Falcon parking in the space port. Look closely, it's there.

  • when vader yelled nooooooo!!!! i remember laughing so fucking hard in a full theater, quite afew people applauded and quite a few boo'd i honestly almost walked out like 4 times while watching this movie

  • So, hopefully things have improved so--OH, MY GAWWD!!!

  • I sure do miss the 80s too ! TSHI

  • ........ I liked this one *cough* *cough* WHAT?! HEY GUYS!!! I WAS JUST WATCHING EPISODE III... 's Rifftrax! Yeah... that's right. My headphones for the Riff just fell into... my pocket! And um, ... oh no, now my Rifftrax is um... muted, I guess I'll just have to watch Episode III now...

  • "Even starving African children in Cambodia"

That line right there pretty much tells you how subtle and clever the guy behind Plinkett really is.

  • 10:16 you see the millenium falcon a few moments before they walk out of their transport.

  • @MrSteveatron93 who cares?

  • @RoninDave Just sayin..it's there.

  • The millenium falcon was in this movie. It's right after they rescue the old guy (sidious), their ship lands in this space parking lot. It's almost invisible becuase so many ships are flying in and out.

  • what's the music at 5:12?

  • Some of the elements in phantom menace are confusing and sloppy, but attack of the clones and revenge of the sith are great movies. the original trilogy is so predictable, with such a cookie cutter plot, that if it wasn't for its great acting and music, would be utterly forgotten. nothing about the original three is sci-fi, except the fact that it is in space. with this review, your really searching for stuff to make fun of. too bad you can't accept that it's a welcome addition to the series.

  • @slowmofosho hahaahhaahahhaaaaahhaaa

  • @slowmofosho Everyone has an opinion, I like all Star Wars and Star Trek movies XD

  • @slowmofosho

Are you high or just stupid?

  • @loner1878 are you like 40+years old and only think the prequel trilogy is garbage because it's not the same one you knew as a kid? or are you just stupid?

  • @slowmofosho

So...oh, what the heck, I'll just ask it: on what possible grounds could you claim the prequel trilogy is NOT garbage? Horrific plots, shockingly bad, convoluted scripts, zero character development, and the kind of acting you'd see at a high school drama club performance. Lucas essentially ruined the entire "Star Wars" franchise with those movies, transforming the series from staples of iconic film-making, to something people use as the butt of jokes on the Internet.

  • @slowmofosho

On what possible grounds could you defend them? They are at best a missed opportunity, and at worst something truly embarrassing to anyone that calls himself a Star Wars fan.

  • @slowmofosho

Actually in in my early 20's. The prequel trilogy is garbage because of mediocre/crap acting, shit dialouge and focusing on flashy CGI effects over plot and character development.

I actually am not a huge fan of the originals. They're okay and fun to watch. But you have to be an absolute idiot to pretend the prequels are any good.

    "or are you just stupid?"

Are you like >12 years old?

  • The Falcon really was in the movie.. haha

  • Check out the Red Letter Media Inspired Prequel Rewrite:

    youtube.com/watch?v=4KT8gk-1tyg

  • "Tshi" is a real word! It's a tribe in South America.

  • The best part about these is the slow realization that this isn't just some douche, and serial killer making a nerdy review, but in fact, a well written, edited, and acted comedy goldmine.

  • @DeePhlat who knows too much about movies

  • " I liked when was over".. lol

  • I liked this movie for the ending. Annakin burning alive almost made the price of admission worth it.

For an assassin, Obi Wan really half assed it.

  • return sounds more heroic then revenge&even if you do rearange the letter in sith revenge of the shit we,er the sith&we give you shit.this i has the least problems if the other movies were beter this peiple would like it with this movie when theay shot down obi wand i thought o my got thay ca,nt kill him or padie whas seemed like those wife who do,nt realy know there huspends&believe her mans is agood man even if he tells he what he did but it allso show how that romance stuff is crap!

  • @smartass250 empore whas a cleashay his corps like apirentes he origionaly di,nt even have a name i can see the charectur in all of them grevus is a prik&a dick liked obi wand in all the movies starwar. starwars history whas metiond in the origional when we last met i whas not but a lerner new i am the master there prequals work well withc the origional&give them more story.drama help conect witch the charecture what thay,er going through

  • you see the millennium falcon in revenge of the sith, you can catch a glimpse of it flying into the senate building when anakin and kenobi return to all the people after rescuing the palpatine

  • you see the millennium falcon in revenge of the sith, you can catch a glimpse of it flying into the temple when anakin and kenobi return to all the people after rescuing the palpatine

  • Palpatine's behind it all.

  • The Millenium Falcon, unfortunately, is in Revenge of the Sith. It can be seen in the distance on Coruscant, at the big round hangar or whatever, flying in to land in the background. You can't tell much detail about it, and it's easy to miss, but the shape gives it away completely.

  • @CaptainLordDestructo He may not have noticed it..... But his brain did.

  • I don't really understand how you can ruin Chewbacca. In the original series he just runs around, hits and shoots people and goes "AHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRR". His part in Revenge of the Sith was completly unnessary and pointless, but at least it didn't really do anything towards his character cause he has no actual lines or really does anything besides shoot more people with a bowcaster.

  • Lol when you dubbed the laugh track over the romance scene I laughed so fucking hard. That scene was so corny.

  • These reviews make me appreciate the power of the "abrupt cut after a shocking line" joke.

  • Love Plinkett! I'd swear he's my father-in-law! Sounds like him. Pretty much the only member of my ex's family I like. Lucas didn't ruin my childhood either, high school did!

  • You will learn to appreciate blow! hahahahahahahahaha

  • @1990SSTARWARSFANBOY I'm sorry but Kingdom Of The Crystall Skull isn't half as fucking offensive as Attack Of The Clones or Revenge Of The Sith.

  • @1990SSTARWARSFANBOY My point being that Indy 4 should at least be number 4 after Clones and Sith.

  • i hate you're voice....

  • @jaagmeisje ...and I hate your grammar! wow, you actually placed the apostrophe there on purpose! amazing.

  • The falcon is in sith

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, the Falcon made a brief cameo in the movie, but you can barely see it.

  • @Hewylewis I always see it ^^

  • you're so beautifull X'D!!!

  • You know, i personally like the prequels, ill blindly like it, call it a guilty pleasure, whatever, but i freaking love your reviews, they're real, honest, and hilarious.

  • I was rooting for the evil robots. Especially the one with the eletrical stick on the irght. A true hero he was, indeed.

  • Who killed it???

    George Lucas filmmaker.

  • His voice... so mesmerizing... can't... stop watching... trying.. to... hit the.... pause... can't stop.. talking... like.. captain Kirk!

    ughhhhh.... *passes out*

  • what an annoying nerd. haha.

  • But the Millennium Falcon was in it, but only for a second.

  • starving AFRICAN children in CABMBODIA? wtf

  • i like this movie

*evades the tomatoes and rotten grocery*

  • @PichuSkywalker And the pitchforks and flamethrowers...

  • @PichuSkywalker Hey you know what man, I actually like it too. I'll be totally honest I don't hate the prequels but compared to the originals, they obviously don't stand a chance.

  • you sound like dr zoidberg of futurama lol

  • STFU ASS

  • Kevin Smith has his finger in George's ass-wallet.

  • Chewie wasin't ruined, hes too awesome for that.

Lots of stuff in Starwars was ruined but If Chewie got his own

movie I'd bet it would be awesome!

  • 13:34

"Once moooore the SHIT will ruuule the galaxy

  • @TeufelMitUns He did it out of rage cause Maul killed his master. Also, it wasn't really necessary to brutally slice him into two separate parts and have him fall down that hole.

How the hell is that not vengeful?

  • "Where would you rape the Milenium Falcon? Right there...I've done it." ROFLMAO

  • Ooooooh. Best part.

  • 13:57 - love it.

  • "Well boi this is kinda exciting :D...And then you saw the movie >:O" Kills me every time LOL

  • Lol "66. The Emperor"

  • Actually the millennium falcon was in this movie

  • People complain about The Movies being childish, and when it's being darker, you complain about them anyways?

  • I find it funny when people ask "Did Vader have to murder children?" Did they simply forget that the Death Star destroyed AN ENTIRE PLANET? I'm sure there were a few children on that planet. BTW not a knock on Plinkett, but I've heard this same thing from many SW fans.

  • @TheDalinkwent Except this movie was a lot more graphic with its portrayal of violence than the original SW. There's the problem.

  • @sec0ndevolution, He killed kids off screen and killed mostly characters that weren't even human, I really don't see how that's graphic. The only really intense scene is when he gets his limbs cut off and burns. I'm not defending these films but I was always perplexed when people complains that he killed children, considering he blew up a planet killing billions of people in a instant.

  • @TheDalinkwent To be fair that was technically Tarkin, not Vader.

  • @TheDalinkwent Vader did not give the order to destroy Alderaan, nor did he pull the trigger.

  • I don't think there is a more appropriate way to refer to Jar Jar than 'lothesome cunt'

  • George Lucas watches the stuff about young Han Solo and realizes just how much money he lost out on.

  • Actually, the Millennium Falcon is in Revenge of the Ship... but in the background.

  • The prequels seem like they were made by a different man and team than made the originals. I guess they were. Old Lucas is truly dead.

  • @Shirishama1 well, two different directors did do TESB, and ROTJ, Lucas directed ANH, so maybe he made the right choice until the prequals

  • @superhuman295 Right, and Irving Kirschner and Richard Marquand were clearly helpful in making those two sequels good.

  • @Shirishama1 no doubt, wish they did these prequals

  • Am I the only one here who actually enjoyed the prequels as much as the originals? o.O

  • @waitingforbrain yes. now get out before you get an analgy.

  • @waitingforbrain One of the rare, yes.

  • @waitingforbrain yes -_-

  • To be fair the reason he renamed it to RETURN of the Jedi was based on the logic that a Jedi does not take revenge. Of course the second Ewan McGregor sliced Darth Maul in two that logic went to hell

  • @Samuel24842 i think he was joking..yep he was joking...

  • @Elghast I know he was I was just saying

  • @Samuel24842 God forbid they actually add depth to the jedi, showing that many struggle to follow the code to a T. Jesus man.

  • @Supergibb Yeah, right. The perfectly choreographed fight of Obi Wan against a mook who might as well be nameless added so much depth to his character.

  • @Samuel24842 It was cuz Lucas got letter from little boy who wrote:

Jedi are good, they don't take revenge.

And the Lucas renamed the movie.

  • @Samuel24842 In Obi-Wan's defense, Darth Maul IS a big threat to the galaxy. A turtle makes progress when it sticks out its neck. Still, you're right.

  • I think the Millennium Falcon WAS in ROTS however it was a brief cameo and didn't do anything.

  • 10:24. FPMSL. Sums up Lucas as well!

  • @1980SSTARWARSFANBOY there are only 3 prequels so your opinion doesnt say a lot and if you think those are boring try watching episode 4

  • plinkett went a bit too far when he started to bring in orspn wells, but otherwise yet another excellent review.

  • more murder, sadness, more murder, worrying, more murder. XDDD fucking priceless. I'm a SW fan , and EP3 is my fav, but i find this shit funny as hell

  • At 7:01

    ANAKIN: "You're so....beautiful."

PADME: "It's only because I'm so in love."

ANAKIN: "No, no, it's because I'm so in love with you."

PADME: "So love has blinded you?"

    Eh?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Comment removed

  • @BatmanJunky1 I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who has and always will think that. JOHN WILLIAMS IS THE ONLY AND I MEAN ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE PREQUELS!!!

    Thanks for posting that comment.

  • @HardyRStudios That, and anything with the great Christopher Lee playing a villain.

  • @1980SSTARWARSFANBOY Did you forget about the Clone Wars. Revenge of the Sith was not boring

  • @theman211294 yuck, that movie needs to burn in hell

  • this review is still one of my favourite movies ever

  • Just re-watched these 3 movies on blu-ray, these reviews are hilarious and I agree on many things but they're not that bad.

  • Was this the way it should have been done. "Noooooooo!"

  • lol The Millenium Falcon is so cool

Luke: "What a Piece of Junk"

  • fuck you for stealing there channels views.

  • "You got some popcorn...or booze" LMAO

  • ..... i really loved Revenge Of The Sith

  • Lol, bitter nerds.

  • i actually kinda like this movie

  • @1980SSTARWARSFANBOY Home Alone? I can understand that, but that's really random. All Lucasfilms movies and then HOME ALONE. What??

  • LMAO at the supposed "comedy" of the movie. I think we all should have been prepared with the comments "its the best of 'THE PREQUELS'". That will let you know how good it really is. Its like saying an a-- whooping is better than being set on fire.

  • @1980SS...Home Alone the first one? Really? Most folks liked it. Considering how much a lot of us bash the SW prequels bigtime, that is a "positive" for Lucas because if it sucks so bad, why do any of us even talk about it anymore? Throw em in the trash and forget about em. The more we bash, the more attention these 3 mega turds get.

  • Revenge of the sith is playing on TV right now. It made me inspired to watch this review (again) with the TV's sound off.

  • @BatmanJunky1 I agree with that 100 percent

  • @1980SSTARWARSFANBOY A 6/10 for the Phantom Menace? That's a little too generous don't you think? Attack of the Clones was horrible, but Jango Fett and the Yoda fight certainly warrented it at least a 2/10 and Phantom Menace a 1/10 because Darth Maul was the one thing that didn't suck about Phantom Menace.

  • @TheInstantClassic1 qui gon jin and tonic wasn't that bad either.....

  • @1980SSTARWARSFANBOY Your rating is so true!

  • lol'd so hard at 12:20

  • 8:21 I wish that were the truth... as it is in the film as a easter egg (after anakin and obi-wan landed grievous's ship. )

  • have you guys taken the Kodac printer challge? he explains it and has his records in his creeepy notebook. WHY does his notebook hve to be 'creepy? lol I mean is he also loggin the measurements to his local middle school's cheerleaders bodies? lol

  • you're so.... beautiful

    *laugh track*

It's only cus i'm so in love

    *laugh track*

no no it's because im so in love with you

    *laugh track*

  • just one litte disagreement he didnt change revenge to return to save money he did because revenge was against the jedi mentality as revnge is a form of hatred

  • @guitarreilly He knows. Its part of the joke

  • Does the venerable Mr. Plinkett know you're biting off him?

  • Actually, the Falcon is in Episode III. During a scene that shows the outside of he Senate building you can see this white ship land, zoom in and it's the Falcon.

Some might say it's another ship of the same design but I think it was intended to be the Falcon.

  • 10:00 Never before did smashing a printer look so epic

  • MediaLetterRed??? why change channel name?

  • @dominic9961 This is just a pirated version from his website, his actual username is still being used

  • @dominic9961 It's not their channel. It's someone else's.

  • Oh man, the dinosaur bones at 0:18 are from the Creation Museum in Kentucky, I think. Fitting, as the prequels make the original series look like the Smithsonian of movies in comparison? OK, that was a stretch.

  • The "Revenge" title was a fake title to catch people making fake merchandise. If they ever were seriously considering it, they dropped it because Jedi don't take revenge.

  • 00:45 - "FILMMAKER."

  • @Ropponmatsu2 that one had originally escaped my attenttion. you really gotta watch these videos several times, there are so many little nuggets everywhere.

  • While I generally agree with the review, I think this movie was the best of the prequels, and that the darker and more adult tone benefitted the movie considerably.
