In MW you have to pay for Mappacks, Saints Row 3 you have to pay for DLC's, same for GTA and so on. In Killing Floor you can buy Character Packs....which are not needed. The additional Stuff which raises the replay value is free. Even years after the release. Tripwire Interactive knows how to treat coustomers. Thumbs up for those Guys! (Someone wanna play some Killing Floor =)? )

I have played this game on and off for the last 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. However today when i wanted to play online it would join fine but everything would just stop... the counter is stuck on the same number of zeds and when i try to type something it wont come up. Im sure its not my internet because i am still connected to steam and can talk to friends at the same time... anybody else have this problem? If you know a fix, i would gladly appreciate you telling me about it. :(

@GoForItDontLayUp I don't think I've had this problem, but it does sound like a connection issue. If it's not your internet, is it theirs? Did you check the ping before joining? On the server list, the number farthest to the right shows the ping. The lower the better.

Also, you might want to check your firewall settings.

@SoylentBacon Checked the firewall, it isnt blocked. The games i join are like 70 ping so that is ok. I have tried multiple games now and it doesnt work.. it just crashes or stays there doing nothing.

@XDron3 claymore sword swings to slow, m203 only has 5 grenade launchers and the gun has tons of recoil, and the husk launcher is pretty useless. However the mp5 m4 and magnum are kickass.

I think they would be overpowered if we ALL decided they were 100% better than the old guns, so it's probably a good thing that someone hates them. Thanks for using your brain and not just using a bad weapon just because it looks cool.

am I right that the new weapons doesn't allow to improve your perks? somehow their damage doesn't affect the counter which measures when will you level up. weird.

While I enjoy Tripwire giving us free updates and events, I have to say the weapons are pure bad. Please Tripwire, I love your games. Don't give us crappy weapons, it only pollutes our game. Please give us good weapons, and add another difficulty past Hell on Earth, and level 7 perks.

The Level Up free weekend got me into this game, and I welcome any newbies who get into it starting with this one.

Protip: There is no shame in starting out on Beginner difficulty. You'd be surprised how quickly the shit can hit the fan on Normal. Also, try things out on solo, so a team isn't frustrated by your mistakes.

@ElliFong Exactly, the only two developers that I'm aware of that don't charge for dlcs and updates are Tripwire and VALVe. The skin packs are somewhat reasonable in a way as they aren't insanely expensive.
