The fact is that she and her husband, Barney, recalled almost the same thing under hypnosis, and Barney had trouble accepting that it happened because he didn't believe in UFOs. Betty Hill was a down to earth women who turned out to be a very reliable witness and managed to keep her wits about her especially considering the circumstances. As the years went by, I'm sure Mrs. Hill elaborated on her story and perhaps may have inflamed certain details. Also, she said that one Being spoke English. How is this possible if they supposedly never been to Earth until their abduction. According to her, they asked her while showing her the solar system map "Where is Earth?" Why would the Being ask her that if they made it to Earth, unless they came upon us by accident, but this still does not explain how the Being spoke English.
