This President is a great guy. I really feel that Barack Obama the man, could not have predicted becoming President of the United States or could he have predicted the deluge of lies, hatred and ignorance that is spewed in his direction on a consistent- daily- unending- basis.

I like Obama as a person of this country, and I liked him as a senator of my state....but as president...no, I don't feel he's lived up to his promise of bring good change, he's brought even more negative change than when bush was around. He hasn't impressed me as a democrat. It's not all his fault, but as the big major leader in this country, he should have done more to move our country forward, and he hasn't done so. Otherwise, he is a very understanding people person.

Yeah, there was a surplus, because the 'Pubs in Congreff balanced the budget, then it got spent because we were attacked on 9/11 and we went to war, a war the Donks in Congreff approved of, a lot of the spending that got us here happened under Bush (hence why not all Cons were crazy about him) AND a Dem Congreff. With Obama and the Dem Congreff, the spending went way up ("stimulus", Bush did a stimulus too, both were wrong).

I can tell you, as somebody who has been to a few Tea Party rallies, race is not an issue. If any white Republican tried to install socialized medicine, the criticism from the Right would be the same. Conservatives attacked Bush for his prescripton drug program, and we praised obama for killing bin laden, just for an example.
