  • @MultiBayleigh try doing it in a matt at the gym or maybe if you put your bed apart and try it on the mattress... and if you want something a little more scary try it on grass

  • @MultiBayleigh what i did was go to a beach and land on my head in some soft sand over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over till i made it to my knees then it took me a day but i could eventually land a back flip... Then 6 years later i found out these make these things called foam pits. Man that would of been nice. but hey now I can work on my standing double back flips.

  • @hurumyboy Im pretty sure he mean dont sling it back with the same force as ur arms because throwing your arms up will be makin you go higher in the air bit if u sling ur head back like you did ur arms itll make ur momentum work on going backwards makin u llose less height in your jump i think it should be fine to throw it back some so u can see where you are landing

  • i hate doing a backflip it uses so much more energy that for example a frontflip or a backfull

  • I've mastered back flips on a trampoline ( can do one after another +land perfect all time+don't need to jump/bounce) is it much harder on doing it on ground ? :P

  • @TOADinvader Frontflips are harder to land on ground, but not as scary as a Backflip. Backflips are extremely easy after awhile but are more scary when you first try them. When you know you have mastered the Backflip is when you can wake up every morning and do a Backflip beside your bed and land it no problem.

  • Whenever I try a backflip I either tuck with one hand and my other hand is out and I get a weird landing which is crouched or at the side or I tuck with both and land on my knees or all fours, I have great height when doing so and used to be able to backflip perfectly without tucking if you look on my channel but now I can't do it and I don't mentally feel scared. Can anyone help or give me tips on what to do to prevent this?

  • @nzurmuhlen2 Getting over your fear of doing a backflip is not easy… trust me. lmao. I did my first backflip on a trampoline 7 years ago, fell off the side and almost broke my leg, never did it again, until earlier today I was just watching people do them. I stood up and said 'Fuck it, I'm going for it" my friend asked to spot me and i said no, went for it, and got it first try. It's all about commitment. If you can jump to about your belly button hight, just commit and you'll be fine.

  • @MRTACOFTW you just gotta go for it but NEVER stop midway... itll just end badly you should practice backflips in a matted gym area off of a leveled base first. and then the ground. once youre confident you should try it on grass.

  • @tickross if you can create enough force to throw your body a full 360 then yes... but these kind of things are best for smaller people, since they are lighter. notice that most of these guys are short.

  • @xtremehamster Easy - ride a bike, hard - wall sitting

  • @xtremehamster go to some stairs and at the edge with ur toes on the edge, lift ur body up with ur toes going up and down for a while; this will build ur cav muscles to help you jump higher.

  • @Extrem3Production Yes dude, Do it from a ledge and down into water at your local swimming pool or something like that. You'r not gonna want to do a gainer there so your mind will force your body to the backflip properly and land in the water instead of on the ledge.

  • @DoraemonSugoi He looked backwards as apposed to throwing his head back. If he'd tucked it properly then it would have been a faster spin. Note that despite this imperfection in his technique, he waits until he is high before he looks back, thereby cutting rotation rather than height from the flip. People generally say it's better to under-rotate high than over-rotate low.

  • @jakewfpf They do tell you not to try them on concrete. It's in the opening text. I assume they do that so that they don't have to say it every single time they do a tutorial.

  • You dont pull your knees to your chest. You pull them towards your ears, like you should. Just squeezing yourself to a ball would not rotate you.

  • @MasterNinjaTerrorist i thought the same thing. i kept trying and trying. then i started doing leg presses in weight room & i tried it one day and landed it perfectly. first try. i leg pressed around 620 before i actually tried backflip

  • i can get my frontflips as high as my neck almost higher then me when im upsidedown but with back tucks im like a bit below waist level cuz i cant peak i go backwards about 1 meter and i try my hardest to jump straight up but im screwed up and just go back any help? im losing alot of height but i can land them fine

  • @gnandtgnandt Try going through the motions of a back flip with out actually doing the flip part (don't rotate), and see if you can jump up and come back on the same spot. Do this 3-5 times then try your backflip. Hopefully you won't go so far back.

  • AHHH.... yeah a little tip. Bringing your knees to your chest or at least saying that will initiate your rotation is correct, HOWEVER, only bringing your knees to your chest will allow you to create the first half of the rotation, and could possibly not allow you to rotate at all if you do not know how to utilize your hips. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THIS TIP!
