Interesting that they built a full-scale building for simulation. I understand it's the only way they can get the mass / dimension relationship to work right - as the mass goes up with the cube of the building frontage, a building 1/2 the size would only weigh 1/8 as much, so would react differently to external shocks.
They need to evacuate California and let poor people live there and and when he big one comes we can move back in ;D
