  • What's the music???

  • Wowwwwwwww. I totally remember this! They played it all the way into the early 90's, I think

  • Never mind. I will just record the episodes now.

  • Guess what everyone!!! I have a full episode of Donald duck presents on a videotape! I'll upload if I get 10 likes. And if I get 25 likes, I'll throw in. Full episode of good morning Mickey! I promise!!

  • So 80s!

  • 1:00 - Like a boss

  • This is the stuff I grew up on. The awesome Disney Channel w/shows like this, Good Morning Mickey, Dumbos Circus, Winnie The Pooh, DTV etc. . All the classic Disney cartoons, old Disney movies, shows like DuckTales/Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers etc etc.....thats the REAL Disney. Kids today have no idea what the REAL Disney is.

  • this sounds a bit like My Sharona by The Knack

  • my favorite show was i was little! but hey! 1983 isn't ancient take that back!

  • so 80s! lol

  • This Donald Duck Presents theme song was a precursur for The Duck-Tales theme song i believe. Both kickass! I think both theme songs sound a lot like Hall and Oates style you make my dreams come true!!!!

  • Hall And Oates - You Make My Dreams Come True (Music Video) (1980)

  • the only one...xD

  • This was one of my favorite intros - the show. By that, I mean the portion after the singing stops. My favorite one would probably be the one where Donald was trying to hit a pinata that the show was supposedly inside. At the end, he lifted the blindfold off one eye and smashed it, causing various random items to fall.

  • I remember originally in between the Donald/Disney shorts they featured non-Disney cartoons in the middle. I know they had to be public domain as the Disney Channel would air several public domain shorts; the ones I most remember were the Paramount Superman shorts. I believe the logo for them was a black circle with red text.

Could anyone help me? I remember someone gave me the answer once, but I believe the video was removed and I forgot to check it before it was too late.

  • Wow, I complelty forgot about this show. It came out when i was 4 or 5. I remember watching it after school, or maybe before school?

  • Every afternoon after school...

Tears of nostalgia as I write this. :*)

  • How many different things did the spotlight do to Donald at the end?

  • This is the REAL Disney channel right here!!! Not this shitty teeny bopper bull shit they have now!!!

  • Donald Duck Presents? Why not just call it "The Donald Duck Show"?

  • Ah, memories. I grew up with the Disney Channel. :D

  • Honestly, this is one of the most hilarious intros I have ever seen!

    "Donald Duck Presents...CRAZY STUFF!" XD

  • One of the most catchiest intros ever. I have to come to Youtube every few months to remind me of how awesome this show was.

  • I remember this form the '80s-early '90s. Thanks for rposting this.

  • i loved donald duck presents trully staticool

  • I'm going to recreate my own "Donald Duck Presents" DVDs by putting this opening and the closing and all the Donald Duck shorts I can find.

  • Long LIVE DONALD DUCK!!!

I'm a BIG FAN OF HIM

  • I love this! great stuff from my childhood!

  • Wish I could find the old music videos Disney used to have (my fav being set to Stevie Wonder's Uptight). I love how the uploader writes that it is an "ancient" clip. God I feel old. I need a cookie.

  • if only there was a channel that had all the old cartoons on...i would NEVER go to class lol

  • Wow, a childhood flashback if I ever saw one.

  • They need a retro type disney channel that play all the old GOOD stuff!

  • @smphares You mean Disney Cinemagic?

  • @mattjnor98 Disney Cinemagic is a program block that was available in overseas markets, UK, France, Germany, etc. They need a dedicated channel like Toon Disney or such that just plays all the old retro programming like DD Presents, Good Morning Mickey, MMC, etc all day every day!

  • @smphares That's basically what Disney Cinemagic is. Not only do they air Disney movies, but they air the classic Disney cartoon library, they air retro programming from the 80's, and they even air shows from The Disney Afternoon.

  • Later on in about 1988

    this show was re-ran

    on Canada's Family Channel.

I used to watch it every morning

    before school :)

  • "Science' not silence, but either way its not like he's Bill Nye the Science Guy.

  • It was science enough for me in the 80's and today. lol. I'm such a big kid for the classics. You just can't beat 'em.

  • Hey! 1983 isn't ancient, sheesh, that's when i was born.

  • Hey, me too.

  • @Speegs23 I'm two years older than you. lol

  • @Speegs23 Ancient for the Disney Channel, haha. This show was part of the original lineup when it premiered in 1983.

  • T_T

  • The still have it on Disney Channel Asia right now!

  • You lucky dogs. Now I have to suffer while you'll get to watch it. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow...Awesome memories...I used to watch this all the time long ago when Disney Channel was great.

  • this is such good memories i remember this was on before kids inc and mmc which i knew it was almost time for kids inc when this came on!! Love it!

  • Donald is the man son. He's the very 1st cartoon char I saw on tv when I was a kid. I love this intro

  • Comment removed

  • I always laugh when I see him.lol.

  • The voice of Donald in this intro was Clarence Nash, the original voice of Donald Duck.

  • Didn't the spotlight always do something different?

  • omg this took me right back to when I was 7 and would turn on the TV the second I got home from school so I could watch this!!!! havent seen this since then :D thank you

  • I remember when this was on at 7:30 am and I only got to watch the whole thing if I didn't have school or didn't go to summer school.

  • Wow. Haven't seen this in YEARS. Back in the 80s my parents had a C-Band Satellite dish (before Disk Network and DirectTV) and I think I had to point the disk at Galaxy 1 and set the Transponder (Channel) to 10, Vertical Polarity I believe. If you have a C-band/Ku dish, you have access to almost anything. I remember tuning in Mexican tv, CBC, Italian TV, NHK, CCTV, German TV (DeutshWelle) and I even got to see special station feeds of movies before the local stations would air them! Memories.

  • I remember several different variations of the spotlight portion at the end of the intro. Good times! Back around 1989, sunspots interrupted the broadcast when I was going to watch this show, and I had to call the cable company to find out why it wasn't playing properly.

  • finally.... i finally found this video donald duck presents is one of my favorite cartoons when i was a kid.......

  • It is rather hard to understand what Donald Duck says because of his muffled voice.

  • Cool! Go Donald!

  • i used to watch this show religiously. i remember right after this show was kids incorporated ha

  • This was the jam.

  • And the last part was from the Three Caballeros

  • Damn, I remember this.

  • wow, you just don't see tv show intros that are this long anymore.

  • Hahahaha, Donald rocks! xD

Hey, how's the episode on 0:34 called? I'm searchin' for it!!! HELP!!!

  • The Clock Watcher; 1945.

  • lol I think I get now. Thanks!

  • Why is it such an 80s thing to say, exactly?

    I feel I should know but I don't. lol

  • WOW!!!!! Thank you for posting this. I haven't seen this in Sooooooooo long.

  • Comment removed

  • good gosh!!! i loved this show as a kid!!!! disney channel back then rocked!!! i wore out tapes when we recorded it when it was a channel u had to pay extra to get it!!! the song is awesome to this day still!!

  • i remeber wakeing up mon-Fri tune on the tube after or was it befor under the berlla tree fred panlters place then dis well come on Disney chanle was nuts back then and of crouse you had ur micky mouse club for those teen fokes lol they should brings dis back or boot dis to dvd for those who watch dis as a child im 26 now lol i dont mind owning dis do yall agree ?

  • My favorite show as a child. This really brings back memories

  • Yeah, it's goofy, but it was definitely back you had to pay premium for the Disney Channel...and back when it was worth it. Now, it's just filled with utter tripe of preteen kid shows and Hannah Montana and her clones. Ugh. Good thing Youtube is around to preserve good television.

  • How 80s. I remember this, but only when Disney ran free previews. Back in the 80s, Disney was a premium channel which meant you had to pay extra. My family didn't have it. It wasn't until around the mid 1990s that the Disney channel became part of standard cable packages. But by then, this show as well as the Raccoons and Kids Incorporated went the way of Reaganomics and a Flock of Seagulls.

  • geeeeeeiiiiiillllll

  • I love this show. And I also love Good Morning Mickey.

  • Crazy stuff!!

  • Oh my god, I used to love this intro sequence. I would watch this show just to see it. Also it's nice to finally know what the hell they're saying! XD

  • This really captures that 80's flair.

Disney is shit nowadays; I don't blame my younger sister for not sparing a thought to it!

  • i love donald....uff

  • If i have already posted who cares! I love this and will until the day i die. I would watch this every morning before going to school. I loved the Dinsey Prewview that would start i think durning the week and end at the end of that week. This one thing i would love to see more of but i have been buying all the Disney DVDs with all these older characters. Keep the peace Donald!

  • Wow I forgot how much I missed this show. The Disney Channel hasn't been the same since!

  • man i haven't seen that in about 20 years. classic donald duck stuff.

  • i friggen love it and miss it... they need a vintage Disney station. Bring back Vault Disney!!!!!

  • Oh my god... i remember... on satellital system, galaxy 1, channel 24 C-Band!!! amazing =.( 198...! good disney channel!!

    Now disney channel it's bullshit!!!

  • Man I remember getting the Disney free previews as a kid and loving this stuff. I really miss old Vault Disney as well. Current Disney programming is AWFUL.

  • this is good television,BRING BACK VAULT DISNEY!

the one we have now stinks!

  • I know many who can do it. :/

  • Could you post a video of yourself doing it, please?

  • I don't have a microphone. :|

Only a webcam. So it won't go along well. I'll try to buy a mic sometime, I guess.

  • I can make the sound that Donald Duck does... :/

  • Ooh, sexy.

  • i grew up in the 80s too! :)

  • in the 1980s? Probably.

  • That clip at 0:37 is from Donald Duck & the Gorilla.

  • and btw, GO DONALD! we love you!

  • omg! you people are so lucky to have been born in the 80's! I was born on 1993 and i would have done anything to be at Donald's 50th birthday parade! I guess i should be thank full that i had a chance to have good cartoons for a while when i was little cause the ones they have now are crap! When i went to my grandpas house in the usa, my mom recorded disney channel for me and let me tell you that the current usa disney channel is whole lot better than the crappy disney channel here in mexico...

  • I wasn't born the 80s. I was born in the 70s.

  • Old-school Disney rules, I used to watch this on Family Channel (which is Canada's version of Disney Channel). It was the best back then, not like now where you have to put up with Hannah Montana ad nauseum

  • What the hell happened to the Diseny Channel, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon? I miss the good old days.

  • I completely agree. Its very mind numbing these days.

  • I was remmeber this in 86 when I first got cable.

  • I miss the old Disney Channel all the classic Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoons. I always watch Donald Duck presents every evening as a little girl. Disney Channel completely went straight to hell with Hannah Montana and High School Musical. I miss being an 80's kid.

  • I remember this around 1985. I was 7 years old

  • i was 95 ore so

  • yeah

the old ones are coool fuehrers face ... hehe

  • fantastic. i love old disney just as much as i hate the way it's turning out now. bring back donald duck, mickey mouse, goofy and company.

  • whatever

  • I imitated alot of things from Donal most especially the spotlight scene. thanx for posting.

  • Wow... that is the real funny funny cartoons!! golden years!!! jajaja

  • I was born in 1983. 1983 is not ancient :P

  • If it is, then I must be prehistoric (born 1978)

  • I was born in 1978 as well, 1983 is not ancient. lol. I remember watching this show in 1986. Love this theme song, good 80s sound.

  • "Dtv" was the best!

  • It sure was. I think I loved the title sequence music the best.

  • I was born in 1983. 1983 is not ancient :P

  • "Who gets stuck with all the bad luck? No one but Donald Duck!" -lyric from the 1940s theme song

  • Donald is awesome! He's my most favorite Disney character.

  • Ahh back in the days when the Disney Channel was worth it. You turn it on today and the shows have very little if anything to do with Disney. What a waste

  • I like the spotlight sequence better. LOL

  • dhbduhdbhdc nc nhgdhthg

  • What ever happened to Donald Duck haven't seen him in years.

  • omg this brings me back to my childhood, disney channel was awesome then... Its total SHIT now, and I can say that with some confidence, and know that Im pretty much right. lol

  • Yeah, your right, WTF happened to the Old School Disney that you and I grew up on, and grew to love? It is nothing more than SHIT today. I am soo disappointed.

  • when disney channel ruled.

  • Check at 1:00--Donald's the mutha-f*ckin' PIMP.

  • heyy

  • heyy

  • ja peur japeur

  • who could forget that?

  • nice! i felt like i was the only person who remembered this.

  • Donald is just so much cooler than Mickey, it's not even funny. Say, do you think that's a Thomas Dolby shout-out at .50? :D

  • /.n.bnmbknkmkljkjlkk.iklk

  • a happy melody. Godd rhythm

  • Donald is my heroe and also other characters from Disney:D

  • i remember this from my child hood i wish it was still on

  • BE PREPARED 23/02/08

  • Prepared for what?

  • The Disney Channel used to be awesome...why did they stop showing these good cartoons????

  • this was when the disney channel was great, now all they show is crap

  • WORD.

  • haha this was the best

  • I remember watching this.

  • This video proves my title reasonable..

  • You proved my title reasonable..

  • Also, if anyone can find it..Disney used to have something in classrooms in the early 80s..educational films and there was a Math McDuck and Donald as a Professor..anyone know any info on these?

  • I used to watch this every day after school.

  • Interesting. Did Clarence Nash provide Donald's voice in this intro? It sure sounds like him.

  • Yes, he did. This came out around the time that the Disney Channel premiered in 1983. Then Nash voiced Donald in Mickey's Christmas Carol that Christmas and Nash did his voice one last time for Donald's 50th in 1984. The following year, he passed away and Tony Anselmo has been picking up where Nash left off (so to speak) ever since.

  • Thanks a lot for the info.

  • donald duck sounds funny

  • cool, you guys have diary of my life ft. donal duck?

  • I remember this...This is back before Disney Channel moved to basic cable.

  • Takes me WAY, WAY back. Thanks a lot!

  • My older sister (36 now) recorded a BUNCH of cartoons (including this one) and shows on the Disney channel in 1983 (around the holidays I believe)...the quality is pretty bad...but still watchable, and she also has a tape of Rainbow Brite from 1984 haha....she probably doesn't even remember, but I use to watch it alot when I was younger.

  • I'd definitely WATCH this!!

    *sings along..'duck..presents..lalala'..*

  • Sounds like "Donald Duck with sex".

  • DC 20 years ago, eh?

    I was borned 1989 so I never had a chance 2 C it.

  • Holy crap, i watched that every morning, twenty years ago! duude..

  • Dude, do you have any freaking idea how this came back to me just now? I swear to God I haven't seen this since I was in kindergarten.

    Unbelievable.

  • This was the ONLY reason why I watched the Disney Channel!

  • Same here, well that and Good Morning Mickey

  • I haven't seen this in YEARS. The Disney Channel used to have quality viewing for kids and families and now it SUCKS BIG TIME. Does anyone remember Disney's Halloween Treat that came out at around the same time as this? You can find clips of it here on YouTube as well.

  • I once heard on TV that Donald Duck is so crabby because of the fact that he wears a tight sailor suit.

  • born in '83...what a flashback...dinsy channel was awesome, today it SUCKS!

  • I agree!

  • not on a childrens clip ... please.

  • O man I remember this! talk about memories!

  • i no how 2 quack like donald.

  • I LOVE DONALD DUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
