Guess what everyone!!! I have a full episode of Donald duck presents on a videotape! I'll upload if I get 10 likes. And if I get 25 likes, I'll throw in. Full episode of good morning Mickey! I promise!!
This is the stuff I grew up on. The awesome Disney Channel w/shows like this, Good Morning Mickey, Dumbos Circus, Winnie The Pooh, DTV etc. . All the classic Disney cartoons, old Disney movies, shows like DuckTales/Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers etc etc.....thats the REAL Disney. Kids today have no idea what the REAL Disney is.
This Donald Duck Presents theme song was a precursur for The Duck-Tales theme song i believe. Both kickass! I think both theme songs sound a lot like Hall and Oates style you make my dreams come true!!!!
This was one of my favorite intros - the show. By that, I mean the portion after the singing stops. My favorite one would probably be the one where Donald was trying to hit a pinata that the show was supposedly inside. At the end, he lifted the blindfold off one eye and smashed it, causing various random items to fall.
I remember originally in between the Donald/Disney shorts they featured non-Disney cartoons in the middle. I know they had to be public domain as the Disney Channel would air several public domain shorts; the ones I most remember were the Paramount Superman shorts. I believe the logo for them was a black circle with red text.
Could anyone help me? I remember someone gave me the answer once, but I believe the video was removed and I forgot to check it before it was too late.
Wish I could find the old music videos Disney used to have (my fav being set to Stevie Wonder's Uptight). I love how the uploader writes that it is an "ancient" clip. God I feel old. I need a cookie.
@mattjnor98 Disney Cinemagic is a program block that was available in overseas markets, UK, France, Germany, etc. They need a dedicated channel like Toon Disney or such that just plays all the old retro programming like DD Presents, Good Morning Mickey, MMC, etc all day every day!
@smphares That's basically what Disney Cinemagic is. Not only do they air Disney movies, but they air the classic Disney cartoon library, they air retro programming from the 80's, and they even air shows from The Disney Afternoon.
I used to hear this song from the kitchen in my house and scream "MAKE IT STOP!!! I CANNOT TAKE THAT REPETIVENESS ONE MORE MOMENT!!!" I am SO GLAD they STOPPED this show!
omg this took me right back to when I was 7 and would turn on the TV the second I got home from school so I could watch this!!!! havent seen this since then :D thank you
Wow. Haven't seen this in YEARS. Back in the 80s my parents had a C-Band Satellite dish (before Disk Network and DirectTV) and I think I had to point the disk at Galaxy 1 and set the Transponder (Channel) to 10, Vertical Polarity I believe. If you have a C-band/Ku dish, you have access to almost anything. I remember tuning in Mexican tv, CBC, Italian TV, NHK, CCTV, German TV (DeutshWelle) and I even got to see special station feeds of movies before the local stations would air them! Memories.
I remember several different variations of the spotlight portion at the end of the intro. Good times! Back around 1989, sunspots interrupted the broadcast when I was going to watch this show, and I had to call the cable company to find out why it wasn't playing properly.
good gosh!!! i loved this show as a kid!!!! disney channel back then rocked!!! i wore out tapes when we recorded it when it was a channel u had to pay extra to get it!!! the song is awesome to this day still!!
i remeber wakeing up mon-Fri tune on the tube after or was it befor under the berlla tree fred panlters place then dis well come on Disney chanle was nuts back then and of crouse you had ur micky mouse club for those teen fokes lol they should brings dis back or boot dis to dvd for those who watch dis as a child im 26 now lol i dont mind owning dis do yall agree ?
Yeah, it's goofy, but it was definitely back you had to pay premium for the Disney Channel...and back when it was worth it. Now, it's just filled with utter tripe of preteen kid shows and Hannah Montana and her clones. Ugh. Good thing Youtube is around to preserve good television.
How 80s. I remember this, but only when Disney ran free previews. Back in the 80s, Disney was a premium channel which meant you had to pay extra. My family didn't have it. It wasn't until around the mid 1990s that the Disney channel became part of standard cable packages. But by then, this show as well as the Raccoons and Kids Incorporated went the way of Reaganomics and a Flock of Seagulls.
Oh my god, I used to love this intro sequence. I would watch this show just to see it. Also it's nice to finally know what the hell they're saying! XD
If i have already posted who cares! I love this and will until the day i die. I would watch this every morning before going to school. I loved the Dinsey Prewview that would start i think durning the week and end at the end of that week. This one thing i would love to see more of but i have been buying all the Disney DVDs with all these older characters. Keep the peace Donald!
Man I remember getting the Disney free previews as a kid and loving this stuff. I really miss old Vault Disney as well. Current Disney programming is AWFUL.
omg! you people are so lucky to have been born in the 80's! I was born on 1993 and i would have done anything to be at Donald's 50th birthday parade! I guess i should be thank full that i had a chance to have good cartoons for a while when i was little cause the ones they have now are crap! When i went to my grandpas house in the usa, my mom recorded disney channel for me and let me tell you that the current usa disney channel is whole lot better than the crappy disney channel here in mexico...
Old-school Disney rules, I used to watch this on Family Channel (which is Canada's version of Disney Channel). It was the best back then, not like now where you have to put up with Hannah Montana ad nauseum
I miss the old Disney Channel all the classic Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoons. I always watch Donald Duck presents every evening as a little girl. Disney Channel completely went straight to hell with Hannah Montana and High School Musical. I miss being an 80's kid.
Ahh back in the days when the Disney Channel was worth it. You turn it on today and the shows have very little if anything to do with Disney. What a waste
omg this brings me back to my childhood, disney channel was awesome then... Its total SHIT now, and I can say that with some confidence, and know that Im pretty much right. lol
Yeah, your right, WTF happened to the Old School Disney that you and I grew up on, and grew to love? It is nothing more than SHIT today. I am soo disappointed.

I once heard on TV that Donald Duck is so crabby because of the fact that he wears a tight sailor suit.
