  • The facts are out there and ignored for profit. 6x the national average of murders against so called sex offenders, 6x national average of suicide. Most can't come home because parents or wives or loved ones live too close to restricted areas. The fliers state false info, a sex offender is not necessarily a child predator as a matter of fact if caught a child predator will likely never see freedom, and most abductions are from someone never before caught. I am so scared for my son, all sons.

  • before and most who are back in jail are for registration related issues The choice given are homelessness or run from registration. They are the lowest offenders to re-commit a crime of all felons and yet they are banished from society. A very large amount are innocent, but cannot afford proper defense. Children as young as 8 are being convicted for tickling or playing Dr Men who work construction and have to pee behind a dumpster ( I personally know two of these men)

  • He plead out, I wish he would have talked to me before talking to the online investigator who convinced him to be honest and it would be okay. He would have said nothing. He did say the insedient happened and explained it and the girl colaberated but non of that mattered. He and 800,000 other mostly young men are homeless and helpless. Cannot live up to 2500 ft from even a bus stop, Go to church or school. They are publically posted as preditors when the facts are over 87% never committed

  • You think you have it rough. You brought up rape. I have a 22 yr old son who was falsly accused of rape of a child in the third degreee ( statutory rape) he was the one raped he was four days into his 19th year. He got too drunk, he was dragged into a laundry room by a 15 yr old girl he had avoided all day at the party. She attempted rape on him, he admits he knew what was happening but could not form words to say no, too drunk. This is date rape but our crime was poverty.

  • the usa is so far gone i cant stand it here anymore, the onlything i like about this country now is the movies.

  • I feel you .At one time I was going to go to school to become a lawyer the income was their due to support .I later started a business to be forced to give m probation officer all my business connections of face violating .I have been denied jobs at good will lost all my customers.Adn due to the Crime Free Housing Policy I can not rent a house or a apartment in a ghetto.

  • Its not just Felonies anymore, The new question is.. have you ever been convicted for anything other than a minor traffic violation. Misdeamers are starting to keep people from getting anywhere. Lots of Rentals wont allow any misdeanors unless they are more than 3 years old. I asked why, and they answered, that just because someone pled out to a misdemeanor doesnt mean they didnt actually commit a felony. AND most of the time, Misdemeanors are more revelant to the job than felonies, like theft.

  • I have been unemployed for 6 months.. I got a job offer but when they found out I had a felony from my background check they took back the job offer.. It isn't fair and I just don't know what to do.. I was charged with a felony hit and run. I have my AA degree high school diploma , drivers license and never violated probation with one year left.. In a bad place right now pretty frustrated but just trying to find something.. Your video caught my attention so I thought i'd leave a message...

  • Hello I am in school and I am having to do an essay on Should convicted felon should get a second chance in society. I would like your input on this topic if you do not mind talking about it. Thank you Sherri

  • @lilkillerjon I would be happy to help. You can call me. Just email me at robertsegurajr@gmail.com and I'll give you my number

  • Just to add: you seem like a nice enough guy and all, and as a partner at a previous business, i'd have no problem pushing you through, however, what is fair to one has to be fair to all, so if another guy comes in, say black with say a drug conviction, and i turn him down, while knowing I hired you, i'm screwed. So the only real answer, is to make employers immune from the eeoc in decisions regarding prior felons.

  • The EEOC requires employers to treat all applicants and employees the same, regardless of color, creed, etc. They also have this nasty rule of "disproportionate impact" (google it) that may seem to apply to felons, however, because of OSHA and ironically, EEOC's own policies regarding disproportionate impact, businesses have found it better to deny all felons jobs, rather that to open the flood gates.

  • I have a felony I have been unemployed for 6 months now and I have applied to countless jobs and im looked at Like im a peice of shit every time and all I ask for is a job. my felony was just an accident to I didnt mean for it to happen it just happend as a accident and the justice system prosicuted it to the fullest extent because I could not afford a lawyer I was not represented properly. If were expected to be productive citizens of society how are we if we dont get a chance....

  • I know your fustration brother. I've always asked the question,"How are we suppose to expect justice from a system full of corruption?" How is this talked backed by people who say "we"ve paid our dept to society" when the pasted is repeatedly thrown in our faces? It has often been said to "Never judge a book by its cover" and yet this is EXACTLY what our society does. All people get dealt a bad hand in some way, shape, or form-the key to our happiness is learning how to play a bad hand well.

  • I have a felony for steroid POSSESSION and can't get a job anywhere. Only if I know a person that works at that company and can vouch for me can I even hope to get hired. The check box for felony convictions is usually on the front page, so they can just toss your application in the trash without even bothering to read it. My parents were born in another country and dual-citizenship is a birth-right for me. I am about to leave the country because of this.

  • Everyones a felon,,, two kinds of people in society,, Felons and Convicted felons,,,Everyone has committed what could techically be a felon! Youve been Blacklisted by ur own Government ! AND most of the time,, the difference between being and not being a felon is how long u wait out ur trial or how much money you got to pay a good attorney,,, most felons were represented by Public defenders,, People paid by the same people who get paid by the same peeps who pays the prosecuter,

  • @Dreambro1 oops,, people who get paid by the same peeps who pays the procecutor and judge! its all a game!

  • @Dreambro1 the best thing for you brothers is apply for foster farm. they will get you in. even though a neighbor of mine have a convicted felon, he just got hire right away after he call in that hot line number. and the only best bet he did was after his appointment and orientation..he just kept calling the HR until they are aware of his calling and hired him the next day. who care how bad people in there are giving you the shit. all you want is to work and just smile and that' it!

  • @tomshobbycollectible brothers? and who said anything about a Job? Im lost

  • @Dreambro1 no, i was just reading some of the comment.

  • FELONS AND SEX OFFENDERS SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO WORK<<< THEY SHOULD EITHER ROB< BURGLARIZE OR SELL DRUGS! DO NOT ALLOW FELONS TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET! IF WE DO<< JUDGES AND PROSECUTORS WILL BE OUT OF WORK! AND THERE WILL BE NO Funding for Prisons !

  • I feel the pain. Once you have 1 felony, YOUR LIFE IS DONE! We shouldnt be looked at any different then anyone else unless its for rape, armed robbery, or murder... I was convicted of Passing Counterfeit over 5 years ago... I did my sentence and will continue to pay till I die.

  • @agent9205 yep, i agree,,,,u cant even work in fields thats unrelated to ur crime,, Youve pretty much been Blacklisted by your government! Yet you have to pay taxes and supposed to be "Gainfully Employed" That way you can pay the court cost that was the drive behind prosecuting you! Societal Brownnosing is what its called, and its not about protecting YOU or your Children,,,they will make your children a felon too! dont believe the hype,, ur just a pawn in the legal system!
