The only stinking matches were probably Hall vs Nash and Hogan vs Warrior. I'm surprised by the lack of love on the internet with the Raven vs Jericho bout. He just had a flow with it and was easily a 4 star match. Loved it.

Man, back in 1998 both the WWf AND WCW were puttin' on top notch shows. WWF's was more storyline centered while WCW was had more in-ring quality, but damn, it was a GREAT time to be a wrestling fan. Can't say the same about 2010...

@wolfxv3 no, hogan/warriot ran too long and the PPV company had to cut the live feed of the actual PPV so they could start the replays, so Goldberg/DDP was shown the next night on nitro

Great Pay Per View. But the most highly anticipated match was the biggest disappointment. Somebody tell me that was "Halloween Havoc" the biggest PPV for WCW? Like Wrestle Mania is for WWE?

Na WCW never had a Wrestlemania of their own. The only event that they actually kept numerical value for was Super Brawl. That was the closest thing to a Wrestlemania. Maybe Starrcade perhaps, but they never had a huge event like Wrestlemania. They should have though its a shame. WCW 1990-1998 (R.I.P) 1999 and on doesn't exist to me.
