According to my analysis ideologies are characterized by a forward extrapolation - this must lead to a catastrophy - followed by a backward extrapolation - the Heil must lie in the opposite direction. Faschism is almost dead, Communism is almost dead, well, islamic fundamentalism is still alive, but I think we are further than you think. The shortest radius is where the renaissance and Savonarola appeared.

I wouldn't count on anything at all. We're just guessing here. We know for sure in 400 years when we can look backward.
