You guys I remember being mad at Topanga when this episode first aired, but after all of these years and looking back at it, I try to put myself in her place and understand. Not only did she lose the comfort and security of having married parents, but she also lost faith in love...and that meant that she lost Cory, too. It's like two loses instead of just one. It's like she is mourning the death of her parents' marriage as well as her relationship with Cory.
