I saw him sing this live at the Bergen PAC in New Jersey and everyone in the audience was silent. Everyone here had no idea how awesome a song writer he is. What a rude bunch of idiots. I was one of many who was crying and thinking about my father that I lost 20 years ago, the pain never goes away. I love you Babbo.

Thanks for posting. When I saw him play this with Matt Scannell he said this is the only song he's ever written where he didn't want it left open to everyone's own interpretation. He wrote this specifically about his father and wanted everyone to know that. GREAT song! His father wrote some of the most memorable commercial jingles ever... including "ask any mermaid you happen to see, what's the best tuna? Chicken of the sea"
