the stock Ecotechs were 140/150 hp/tq from the factory. Theres no way an 04 Ecotech Cavalier to the wheels is 150hp stock. however, it doesnt take much to improve it, with full exhaust, header, and a few bolt ons. still, these dont produce that much HP gain until you boost them. If you do boost, these small motors should be turboed, not s/c'd.
btw, those are NOT stock rims. those are like motegi dp10's or something. The chrome '10 spokes' by GM looked a little different. I would put the title of my car on that bet. NOT STOCK. who is letting you people log onto the intranets? thats it, im taking your routers and modems away, hand em over..
most of you are pretty illiterate. If youre going to post, I hope you have an education of some sort. Learn to read. In the beginning of the video he posted the basic modifications on this NEARLY stock cavalier. thats actually pretty accurate. 150WHP on a stock 140BHP car after those 'bolt ons' (basically stock) is pretty good.
how some of you even managed to figure out how to register for this site is beyond me...
sorry but you are full of crap they are rated stock at more tq than that and i am sure that the bit you changed the back pressure was not enough to drop 12 ft lbs tq
@coreystouffer Trust me, look up cavilier ls sport and search the 3 different rims they offer....one set are chrome 16 inch rims and look identical to those..
rice huh haha youre funny wat do you drive a honda?lol and the dyno was free he had a dyno day and i just wante to see wat it put down b4 i did a whole lot to it.......
look your all wrong i owned the the same year with the same mods but mine was turboed, i dynoed it before the turbo and i was putting out only 2 more horses than this guy so stop stoppin knockin cavaliers and yes you can put a turbo on a stockish cavalier (hahnracecraft)
cav o4 w 5 speed n cold air w filter mounted in fender well n exhaust can beat civics accords w mods all v6 mustangs syock corollas, eclipse and some mid to late 90 mustang gt's
actully stock horse power with just a cold air is 125ish to the wheels 140hp to the crank. you r a lier or youve done alot more mods then your tell us
nice cavy. it looks sleek. i have an 04 cavalier ls sedan. aem cold air , magnaflow exhaust, and 4-1 header. what all is modded on your car? just exhaust?
not really. having a cold air and exhaust is basically stock....those are the simplest modifications you can make to any car. it really is basically stock.
