  • @mocus1 I'M BLACK, YOU CAN'T KILL ME!

  • Thanks!

    With Gratitude,

    Andrea

  • Wonderful! Thank you so much for the upload. My memory of this song is listening to it off a bootleg tape I bought off a Phillipino hotel worker in Saudi Arabia. We plugged it into the tape deck of a Toyota Highlander and bounced around the desert.... 120 degrees,,,,passing camels and bedoine tribes... weirrd times.

  • Great lyrics! Isn't it great when it's euphoria!?

  • What year is this from? late 90's, early 2000 about that?

  • How do I get my hands on this DVD?!!?

  • anyone know what kind of piano he is playing on?

  • @Kgodfather18 It's a Steinway Concert Grand...I don't recall offhand what model it is though.

  • That man is a fuckin genius. Thank the good Lord for Billy Joel

  • Sensational tune, in every way.

  • I can't believe I've never seen this before. He actually sounds better than I thought he would. Love it.

  • Tuned down a key for old age's sake. Love it.

  • He looks like Alan King here lol.

  • for we are always what are situations hand us...

  • The Super Seventies! Bravo!

  • The Master at work. One of greatest musicians/artists of our generation.

  • My absolute favorite Billy Joel song!!

  • @squinn1201 the best EVER..

    UK/USABOY.

  • @squinn1201 it's at least in my top 3, I came across Songs in the attic in middle school. So while everyone at the time was listening to Nirvana, and Cyprus Hill I was listening to this.

  • An absolutely gorgeous song. I've never seen anyone else play it with the same feel. Many have tried, but the overall feeling isn't right.

  • Billy, you have a way about you my friend...

  • he has no hair and looks a bit like an imp but it doesn't take anything away from his playing power! he is a musical god in my oppinion! this song is also utterly beautiful and is so magical! love it dearly! x

  • This is great its the masterclass concert i believe

  • This wonderful song is one of those

that one can hear, over and over,

without ever feeling tired of doing it.

  • Billy Joel really is one of the most fantastic musicians ever.

  • I love this song, one of his best songs and his voice has remained as great as ever despite the passing years!

  • fulkin' great

  • it's amazing how his voice hasn't really changed after all these years.

  • One of Billy's most beautiful pieces, both in lyric and notes - I love the piano in this... a wonderful musician! How lucky our generations are to have this man in our lives!

  • Hey Billy, I know you're going through a tough time with your divorce, but keep playing and composing. God Bless You Billy.

  • i can't help but miss the sax riffs

  • it's either sadness or euphoria

  • No it's not. bocagq45 is right, it's "Summer, Highland Falls"

  • a little dimestore advice from the Piano Man.....Billy, the best lounge act you'll ever see

  • Great sound, this song literally changed my lifes outlook many years ago. Wasted too much time thinking life sucked and had nothing to offer but realized these are the only times I'll know and live.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah- the lower key does make it more mournful. Nice comment. F is always too peppy sounding for this song

  • Because of the way his voice is now, Billy's had to transpose a lot of his music down. I think it works well. :)

  • It was recorded at the Univ. of Penn campus Philadelphia PA in the late 1990s

  • It was recorded after 9/11 in about Feb 2002

  • does anybody know where I can download the sheet music for Summer Highland falls for the piano for free?

  • I would like to know that to

  • The song has aged along with Billy, i never get sick of hearing this. The song is not called the summer i had the falls.

  • Fantastic!!! Thank you so much for sharing that.

  • Great version. I love the lower key. It makes it sound more mournful and meaningful.

  • Wow Billy has aged but not this song my personal favourite from Billy gorgeous song!

  • He looks like Alan King here lol.
