The difference you forgot:

Ho-Oh in HeartGold is level 40 and has Sacred Fire and Lugia is Level 70 without Areoblast

Lugia in SoulSilver is Level 40 and has Aeroblast and Ho-Oh is Level 70 without Sacred Fire.

@TheOneTheyCallTurner Kyogre's base SPA is 150. Add that with x6 power with Calm Mind and it's the worse thing in the world. I fought it with Level 100s and it still cause major damage to my Metagross even though its a defensive beast. It's a huge pain to face Kyogre...

I got Soul Silver first and it was a pretty good game. Then I got Heart Gold also. Pretty much the same story line. I haven't really encountered many Poke'mon because I'm not far in it. In the beginning it's hard to tell the Poke'mon exclusives in both games.

@Demonplayer44 idk you might not want slowpoke since you already have a water type but if you want a psychic pokemon go with drowzee, because it can take some hits and has decent special attack, also there is hoothoot which isnt psychic but learns psychic moves because you dont have a flying type. i hope i helped ha my team is : Lucario, Lanturn, Crobat, Magmortar, Tangrowth and Nidoking, and i just beat the 8th gym like a half hour ago. :D
