I've been interested in Aerospace engineering since I was 8 years old, and am now 15, I wish to be able to design the air/space craft of the future. I have high hopes for my future. Maybe you will be seeing one of my designs flying overhead one day, but till then, I can only imagine what I will do with my life!
ones i get my flying car off the ground there will only be flying cars; the airplane will become obsolete since everyone can fly themselves...i wouldnt call buplic transportation an airplane either; it would be more like a flying bus. :) and eventually saucer. bye to boats and trains as well...o bikes..skate boards...skates...theyre soon to be history...and dumb pilots wallets will shrink down to the size they ought to be.
they have to start making the airplanes lighter, every time you'll see new materials to make aircraft to be light, maybe only one engine??, Idk, but somehow we have to stop spending so much petroleum. a normal 757 takes 4000 galloms of jet a for a 4 hour flight. thats a lot.
you do know wright borther were not the first people to fly right? It was actually this arabic old guy he was able to fly for 10 minutes straight if you think about it now its not a big deal but hack then if you could stay in the air for 30 seconds you were probably a magician
besides to be interested in math, physics and chemistry as thelnfamous302 said...
MOST IMPROTANT are good grades in school in general!!!
without the marks, you wont get wide after school...therefore(especially because youre "just" 13): strive in school to get a good graduation(possibly with some emphasis on math etc.), then look out for the next steps of your career as AE!
Inspired me as well great vid. Since you said it was all right for that guy to use it for school i guess i'll use it k? great video man and this definately makes me want to become an aerospace engineer. Thanks again for this video.
im 13 right now and i have good marks and this video really inspired me i know im far away from becoming and aerospace engineer but i really want to be one when i grow up can some one please tell me when i need to learn more of to become an aerospace engineer i really want to be one
@darkmatter223 study lots of math and physical sciences, and try to be as creative as possible... you need to go work for NASA so we can save our future generations from this soon to be garbage dump of a planet.
@darkmatter223 You mean WHAT you need to learn more of?
You need courses in chemistry, calculus, and physics off the top of my head. You need calculus for physics, physics to deal with forces exerted on and by the vehicle, and chemistry to deal with gas pressures and fuel combustion.
wow! im going to be an engineering freshman undergrad this fall, and I am planning to study aerospace engineering...and this video just inspired me even more
the morphing technology shown here isn't all too complex; it is possibly used by a sort of carbon fiber or composite matrix with interaction points. the interesting morphing research though is that of changing the cross-sectional shape of the airfoil. it's already been applied to flying aircraft.
Here is a original idea. What if their was a jet that could fly in the air and also submerge under water?

I believe the Wright bros. had the first "motorized" flight.
Not the first heavier than air flight.
And that's debatable.
But their plane still works for your video.

Dear All,
I have some question about psychology and craetivity:
(1) Why do we love to day-dream about new aeroplanes in the future?
(2) How will be the motivation for flying in the future different from that at now? (eg. for school project, for shopping, or daily sport...etc)
(3) In you opinion, what will aeroplanes look like in the future?
(4) If flight simulator has program feature to dsign a new future aeroplanes, will it be attractive to players?
THANK YOU for answer!!! :)

in the future there will be no 'airplanes'...

You need to take Chemistry, Physics, and Math courses and you should be skilled in all 3 fields if you want to enter this field.

Hey man I was wondering if I can use your video for a school presentation. Oh and can you tell me what song you used? Thanks man.
Charles2337 3 years ago
go for it; the song, as is credited at the end, is called "bumblebee" and comes from the original soundtrack to transformers
