Zach braff is underrated..because SCRUBS is super pop...but at the same time...the movie is brilliant..it's well written and natalie portman is gorgeous-cute...the songs on the soundtrack are slected perfectly and "Garden State" was A+...

lol these people saying hard to explain are wierld. Its pretty straight forward movie. About some guy who's childhood was messed up and he is really distance from his parents. After 9 years of not being with his parents, he comes back with his family due to his mother's death. He realizes that he didnt cry even though his mother is dead. Then one day, he meets a girl at a clinic where it changes his life totally. From a calm sad dude to finally being alive and energetic. He found his identity.
