  • If you let go of the boulder it runs you over.

  • i love your green dress. on another note. the department of education didn't see Steve Keens truth very early did they. if we can blame them we should.

  • Steve Keen seems to make sense on a lot of finance and economics but contradicts himself too and looks almost disingenuious.

It looks like quite a few of us noticed it.

There are economist who noticed what were happening included people from the Austrian School. Even met a dentist who seem to understand it too and he is no economist.

Interestingly I was speaking about the housing bubble even before I heard of Austrian Economics.

All I had to reach my conclusion was high school economics.

  • "Occupy the universities" is getting to sound like a good idea. Our local university has turned into a web of policy institutes run by "holier than thou" academics as a breeding ground for the next generation of elites. Meanwhile the student loan bubble is driving up tuition costs and academic salaries and will assure that the graduates remain in debt forever as they search for non existent jobs.

  • Smart, witty, beautiful and charming--what a winning combination...Good show!

  • LOL @Cartman in the background at 15:40 haha

  • I just masturbated to this.

    I feel durrrty :|

  • Lauren Lyster is absolutely hot ! and her voice is intoxicating.... mmmm....

  • Demetri had a Rick Perry minksky moment..........lol

  • Mason Gaffney wrote a book called, The corruption of economics, where he explained how economics was turned into a joke, because the rich did not like the conclusions from true economists

  • stavros is eye candy for homosexuals

  • Great show as always. Thank you once again for all the GREAT financial information. Your entire cast does a good job. Alyona has nothing on Lauren's show lmao. (joking)

Btw... All the weird comments with the even weirder youtube names are either the same person or some 46 year old virgin brothers living at home with their grandparents.

  • @Y3GRAPHIX Proof?

  • The quality of RT's guests really put the western media to shame.

  • "New governments installed in order to please lenders, please creditors--"

Wow, that is blunt/direct-- not afraid that someone will "force" Capital Account and Keiser Report to make "retractions" like Battali? Anyway, I hope RT broadcast in Europe, cos they need to hear this...

Especially since they just awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics to 2 American economists who had absolutely nothing to say about the Global Financial Crisis during their Princeton press conference.

  • Can u imagine what would happen to art and culture if education was purely left in the hands of the market? A world where art is judged on its value as a commodity?

  • I'm guessing when you and Steve Keen speak about economists not seeing the crisis come, you mean Main Stream right?

Peter Schiff saw it, Marc Faber saw it, The Austrian School of Economics saw it, & Ron Paul saw, warned, yelled, wrote bills trying to stop it since 03 and before.

Steve said there are no politicians addressing it - Ron Paul has, for 30+ years

    -_-

19:17 They need to occupy the Central Banks, Not anything else.

Starting with the Federal Reserve >: I

Yes Mr. Author, that was Ron Paul. Abolishing the Department doesn't eliminate education Steve, why would you even say that?

Why don't you look at the cost of education and look at how the education of the students has declined since it's inception?

    *shakes head*

The author seems cool except for that point.

As for Mario's comment, it's not anyone, he's a Chef, he has to be wiser with his words, especially when it includes his customers.

As for CNBC its a "Business network"

  • Taking up the banner of Rebel Economist, I have personally used Steve Keen's work to force professors to CHANGE the curriculum of the education system in my area... More people need to do that!

Prof. Keen is the Steve Vai of Econ. There may be other guitar wizards out there, but none that hit the notes like him.

  • think that bloke was a bit of a joke guest tonight

  • @taggart64 and why is that?? he's a respected econ./author/prof etc...

  • Lauren is soo sexy

  • stavros: "it's my fav part of the day".. dude shutuuupp, stop flirting, start doing mann!! -.-'

  • the government has no real incentives to educate the population. If education were completely left to the free market, schools would actually have incentives to give children a quality education. AND the prices would be low enough for almost everyone to send their kids through school.

Steve has Straw-manned the issue acting like if we didn't have a command-and-control centralized department of "education", people wouldn't be educated.

    what a cump

  • @natritious1 So true. In fact when you take a close look at the "education system" and its history, you can see

that it's a tool of the elite ruling class designed purposely to dumb down the population, and create generations

of propaganda-addled, controlled American slaves. Search Charlotte Iserbyt @youtube and get the straight dope from an "education" veteran.

  • People haven't understood yet that the crisis is not meant to be resolved, it was fabricated for a reason, and it will spread until it achieve that reason, the new world order.

  • Comment removed

  • So when is stavros going to propose to lauren live?
