I'd ask them to check the lenses if they hurt. I've worn sclera lenses (The contact lens which covers the entire eye) and it didn't hurt at all. Maybe the lenses don't fit their eyes properly? More so if they are lenses which they have made in bulk for multiple actors. D: Bet they are so pleased to have them taken out at the end of a shoot! ;-;
