It's been forever since I've watched SVU, but I just MIGHT be tuning in for this episode (though the way the show is going, more than likely it'll be 30 seconds of Benson interrogating Lee's character while Stabler watches on from the other side of the glass). Still, I guess I take what I can get.

I think the best part of this scene is not how cute it is, but how casual it is. So many of the B/K interactions are so dramatic and momentous, but we never really got to see them just be together. The kiss on the neck feels... domestic, somehow. That's why it's so great.

you got it spot on... it's something any couple in love would relate to - a peck on the neck, or the forehead, or a firm hug from behind, or spooning around in bed on a Sunday morning. Domestic is the right word, i reckoned :D
