Buddhism. What a crappy philosophy. Its first tenet. "Life is full of pain and disappointment". What a silly way of thinking. One should think like a winner. Think : "Life is full of joy and accomplisment"

In fact both "Life is full of pain and disappointment" and "Life is full of joy and accomplisment" views have some place in buddhism as one of the stations in its way is to change consequences of the first to the consequences of the second. Yet its ultimate goal is free both of "pain and disappointment" and "joy and achievement".

@mexman48 The translation of the text comes out in english differently then what the true meanings of the words were. Pain and suffering also means hardships like distress and anxieties that come along with daily life. So know the true facts before you insult people, ignorance is poison.
