It doesn't necessarily have to be the colour to be cooked well. It has to be the right temperature to kill the bacteria, chicken has to be 80 degrees celcius, and if you get it out at exactly that temperature, it isn't as white as it would be if you bake it. I think it's more delicious this way, but that's just my opinion ;)

@jenecomprends yes your right about hte colouring but ...its raw at the inside!!!!!
cause,the high proteien in the meat of birdlike and pork makes the meat white.
therefore its called whitemeat.
it can be pink or rose in pork(thyham etc.)99%of the time its brine/corned meat.
