@DMaddox2010 I met her three or four years ago, she looked right down her nose at me (well up) but she wasn't particularly vile, just a bit aloof. Had a nice conversation with her though.

She hasn't been in Corrie since 1964. She made a brief appearance as the exotic dancer under a different name, for a couple of episodes. She returned full time in about 1973 as Rita Littlewood

This is a nice interview. It's good to hear about Barbara, and the story about the hat is touching. At least now I get why she wore that thing.

It's too bad they couldn't bring Dennis back from the anniversary.
