AFI fans complain so much about selling out. Seriously. I stopped liking AFI after the A Fire Inside ep. So, they got bored with their music and changed it up. EVERYONE does that. Being a 40 year old punk is NOT cool. They grew up. If you guys really like AFI, you should support their success. But I do agree. New AFI isn't my cup of tea.

AFI is still great, yes they had a song on guitar hero but they didn't sell out, they don't suck, they have the same energy as they used to, they learned more about music and their newer albums are much deeper and more intricate. So people can bitch about how 3 chord 1 minute song AFI is better than key changing, tempo changing, deep lyrical, guitar solo AFI but they'll never be teenage punks anymore. Get the hell over it.

I thought "Hmmm....Oh well. Cool". It also doesn't have this song. I thought "That's fucking weird". Later, I heard that it's not supposed to have Rolling Balls, Love is a Many Splendored Thing, or Who Said You Could Touch Me. I was weirded out. Turns out I have a test pressing. Amazing.
Only new AFI song I like is Miss Murder (and even that's not quite there), first AFI song I ever heard. I got the single and the other 2 songs on it were shit, then when I went to Ireland I bought the self titled compilation album and it had their older stuff on it (like before they went mainstream), this old hardcore punk type stuff was their best. This album is a big influence on the music I'm writing at the moment.
all these lame kids that only know of mainstream afi and their shitty new music.... ugh. i guess all i can say is"god it makes me sick" works well here.
