@jessecalubhall666 It's a habit for substituting a mic to my face. Also the hand bounces sound back so I can hear the tones I'm making better over the loudness of the music.

Yo bro. I love vocals like this. I want to be able to do them, I can scream/growl but they come out more of an Amon Amarth sound (Since i'm doing false chord), which is cool, i like it. But i want a more.. Pissed off sound, like this. How do you do it? And could you break it down to stupid for me? People who explain this tend to get all technical and its like "What?" : ) Oh. and you have a great scream. Perfect for Chimaira style.

@MichaelangeloAdaamo Well thanks man, I appreciate that. Errm the vocal style is actually pretty simple in concept, but it does take tweaking. Basically it's fill your lungs as much as possible because it blasts through your air, and project from the diaphram with the loudest yell you possibly can. Start with normal yells, and tweak your vocal chords slightly so it gets higher and higher in tone/pitch. This isn't throat based, keep in mind that you hardly have to tense for big effects.

i dont do that with my throat. i just loosen my pallet and yell pretty much. for lower growls i shape my lips like saying "oh," for higher screams more like saying "eye."

hard to explain, its just air flows though really.

youtube hated my screaming, and eventually i started to hear how shitty it was too.
