@pms00 easy, isabela and varric don't mind me helping her with her personal quest. she never comes with me to the fade and the same thing that anders likes me doing helps bump up her blue points. in fact the only char i got 100% rivalry with is carter

You say in the vid, Dissent is given to the player if Anders is 25%+ in friendship after seeing the Arishok, is it possible to get this quest if he's a rival???

I'm doing the Rival trophy & side with Templars 5X trophy too along with Supplier, was making Anders my Rival by supporting the Templars (working v well) but now i can't get Dissent quest you say?

Do i have to start over?

@EmmyIiciouS Rival will work, too. Just make sure you progress rival at the same pace as I suggest friendship (25%+, 50%+, 75%+)

@EmmyIiciouS and @anyone-else-reading-this, rival/friendship is ok for most characters. the hardest one is Isabela which is why I suggested romancing her because she always returns if you successfully complete the romance. if you do not, then you have to get nearly 100% in either direction and say the right things to get her to return

@tiagoavp2 you can have him either way, just make sure you go all the way down whatever path you're taking.

@tiagoavp2 to clarify: the companion quests are given based on your status. you only get them if you are 25%, 50% and 75% friendship OR rivalry. the methods i listed are the easiest way to assure all companion quests are given so you don't miss any resources, but you can do it your own way as long as you get your friend/rival status with the listed people to the max.

@ DrkOCAngel Smuggler's cut is in the blackpowder mission. After you talk to the Arashock (sorry bad spelling) go to darktown. Follow the quest arrows. :)

@achivementhunter1 there is an achievement for having 4 maxed at the same time, and one for a friend and rival, so it helps to work on them for that. if you already got those achievements, then you only need to get the three characters to about 76%, not max.

@pms00 I completed the game as a Mage and I got all resources but not all recipes, and not getting Supplier achievement. Plus I have Maximize everyone into Friendship. Now I have a Warrior, and I'm in act 2 and fully maximize my friendship again with my companion. Is that good or bad?

@TheIcedragon1987 Do you have Isabella at max? She is the one most people have problems with returning for Act 3 and then are unable to get her companion quest resource at the end.

@BzFJackson The letter comes after Enemies Among Us, but you don't have to wait for it. Just visit the Chantry and destroy the one on the 2nd floor. It will open the quest for the other four.

I xp glitched to level 50. if i give them all shitty weapons and unequip their abilities will i still get one hit killed? :p

@tafman28 Yes. But, you can run away and do attacks from a distance. It helps if you summon the dog to tank for you and do your biggest damage attacks. They don't have much health, just strong hits. Also - If you kill everything except your companion, the door opens and you can run out, forcing them to despawn.

@pms00 hey, i just did night terrors and fenris was 1 hit killing my whole party constantly (i xp glitched) =p but if you have him drink a 'maker's sigh' potion it resets his attributes and abilities, pretty good way to stop your party member from totally destroying you lol

I was using the guide on DA wikia and it told me the lyrium was in Cavern of the dead not Crawling Cavern or whatever. Now it won't let me in the fucking cave because I finished Cavern of the dead.

how filled do they have to be? isabela is simple to get filled up, merrill seems easy enough to go rivalry, fenris i just finished bitter pill, and anders i think is also kinda full.

@CharlotteEmily09 You do not have to, but it is the easiest way to assure she will come back for Act 3. If you do not romance her, you need to get nearly max friendship or rivalry. 51% is enough to get her companion quest but not enough to get her to come back.

@CapleCap Isabella, Anders, Merrill, and Fenris all have friend/rival level-based Companion Quests with Supplier resources in their locations that cannot be accessed without at least 26% (act2) and 51% (act 3). Isabella also is not assured to return for act 3 unless you romance or max it out.

Varric, Bethany, Aveline, and Carver can be safely ignored.

the easy road: Merrill = rival (hint, she likes demons, kill them while she watches :P and be mean to her), Isabela = friend, Anders = friend, Fenris = friend (flirt is the easiest way with these 3)... well, in fact, Merrill and of course your bastard brother (if you play mage) are the only ones thats easier to get rival than friend, Merrils bonus is better as rival as well imo.

@FamazFIN No, as long as you push him far enough towards full rivalry (more than halfway between neutral and max). I suggested Anders for Friendship because it is easier, but not required.
