  • "Paul Ramon" and Steve Miller together again.

  • I won't pretend that his newer material is as good as the stuff with The Beatles, but I'm glad he's still active because he always puts out something worth listening to :D

  • The first time that I heard this song was the Father´s Day movie.... I loved it

  • My young boy! I love you, Paul!

  • damn, he's still hot! HAHA. love him♥

  • rubbish

  • Ther Movie Fathers Day Bbrought me Here

  • I thought that the best solo ex-Beatles artists are John Lennon and this man Paul McCartney.

You give us nothing but hope of deliverance, Sir Paul McCartney we still love you even though you're an old Beatles member.

  • no matter how old he is...i still think hes sexy and im 27 LOL

  • FIRST time I heard this song I was diving into a pool.Someone from England had a tape, and he played it loud so we could all hear it...in Alcudia, and it juist hit me how good Paul is....little did I know about how ill she was.Anyway,I bought the album and found out that it was about Linda.Even on the planes were 3 or 4 songs from "Flaming Pie" . I had been so out-of -music not knowing ...and Flaming Pie opened my ears.1997 .Thank you Paul.

  • beautiful. flaming pie was the 1st solo paul album i ever bought back in 97.

i was 15 back then and almost 30 now, but still feel young!

  • Great Job Alistar- Remember Driving my corvette back in 94' the good ol days 3rd street prominade doing the interviews. ah good laughs.

I haven't heard this since I was in Paris 1997.

  • I first hearn this song on the movie Fathers Day!!!

  • I'm not into Paul's solo stuff but this song is pure love

  • @ZZqezza paul as a solo artist is the best in my opinion better than the beatles

  • @fazg2 Yeah, many people say the thing. I've tried to get into his solo music several times but my attempts always failed. And I kinda feel sorry about it.

  • @ZZqezza But still I preffer him as a solo!

  • @fazg2 What do you think is his best solo album? I've decided to give him another chance:-)

  • @ZZqezza i think flaming pie and mccartney

    and yours?

  • Paul en Lima, en Mayo!!!

  • Tal vez sea la única canción de Paul Mc Cartney que me guste, pero no me pongo gil si viene o no a Chile, me dá absolutamente lo mismo....

  • MY HERO!!

  • And Steve Miller on guitar .. LOVIN IT!!

  • very good track

  • I don't know any teenagers who likes this music and I'm a tenager and I think this a masterpiece!!!

  • Tears from me, thanks for posting, I saw the Beatles in the sixties in Bradford,

awesome guys, for people who gave this tune the thumbs down, get a fucking life!

  • Paul you did it again thx

  • Try latin women **busizz4me.info**

  • @MartianSiGMA Umm... no. Paul is too much of a genius to be described in words. I understand you're trying but 'crap' is definitely not the word we're looking for... But keep thinking!!

  • Thank you so much, easternbird, wonderful video! Great Paul McCartney and great Steve Miller.

  • Paul McCartney marathon? Why didn't ya'll wake me up?

  • A great one,,)))

  • A great one,,)))

  • Yeh, it's one of Paul's better songs.

    Most is just muzak.

  • Paul McCartney marathon on Vh1 Classic :D I want to see that!!!

  • idk how 6 people can dislike this...how can you not like this song?

  • Hell yeah. Paul McCartney marathon...

  • La canzone che la Watching TV ha reso grande nel mondo!

  • quee piolaa

  • great song, love it

  • Ive been trying to remember what this was called.

    Awesome!

  • Loved this song when I was 8 and finally remembered what the song was called today and found it again at 21.......sounds just as good!!

  • @bneild had the same experience but just with Hope of Deliverance by Paul, real good song too!

  • wonderful song man, what can I say. I knew this song back then in 1997, but still like it so much now. !!

  • Great work. Nice video. Thank you so much!

  • A great bravo, Paul. Thank you. All the best!

  • My "step grand daughter" loves Pauly...comes into my office and demands to hear him. Then she dances to the songs I love so much...I have been enjoying and listening to Paul and the Beatles for close to 50 years!!! thought I had heard them in everyway possible. Cannot tell you how wonderful it is to see this baby dance and enjoy his music as much as she does.

  • Paul's new songs would be #1 hits if no one cared about age or apperience. Just because he's 68 years old and has some wrinkles on his face doesn't make him a less talented musician. But now, if you show a 12 year old a song by a 68 year old they won't even give it a chance. Good thing some of us young kids are into the music. I got my friend into it recently. She likes Sir Paul now.

  • @WorshipMacca Not to mention, Paul's the most attractive old man there ever was.

  • @carryxmextoxthexend haha yeah i'm not afraid to mention he's a sexy 68 year old

  • @WorshipMacca RIGHT ON!! PAUL is the best & my fav beatle the greatest musician in music history & the beatles #1 band & wings are amazing too

  • @MrMoviemaster26 completely agree! paul's my favorite too! :) LOVE HIM!

  • @WorshipMacca Im 18 and i can tell you i like rap and pop.... But i will pick Paul, the beattles, wings, ect. everytime! BTW one of the only musicians that have talent who can sing great who is young in John Mayer. haha

  • @WorshipMacca I agree with you :) I'm 14 and a very big fan of Paul <333 he's awesome! I don't care of his age or whatever ... his music helps me if I'm sad or whatever<333

Thank you Paul for such music :)

  • Paul McCartney marathon?? DAMMIT WHY WASN'T I NOTIFIED?!?!???? i probably wasnt even born yet anyways :( pft whatever. love this song. love paul :)

  • @WorshipMacca I was thinking the same damn thing. Then I realized I also wasn't probably alive yet either.

  • @grim107 haha yeahh i hate the fact that i was born when i was born oh well.

  • Very well friend good video

  • i love this song

ooooooo paul: i love you forever

    que lindo

  • I wish he would play a song like this on his tours....I have seen him three times, and he always plays Flaming Pie....

  • Sounds just like an old Beatle song.

  • This is great. Lots of memories when I met Paul on the Mull of Kintyre. What happy days. We all didn't know what was round the corner. At some point, in our lives, we are all alone. Best wishes Paul. See you.

  • paul mccartney marathon! i want it in my tv! :)

  • amo a paul!

  • fantastic song, the best on "Flaming Pie" thanks so much for posting this video!!!

  • This song was featured in the lame Billy crystal/Robin Williams comedy Father's Day.

  • Paul is so amazingly beautiful in this video.

  • One of Paulies Best!!! Love to all Maca fans from St Johns Wood!!!

  • Sure, we are young boys!

  • I love all of his songs. He could sing the phone book, and it would sound brilliant.

  • @MegaMagicPie You're crazy. Ha ha.

  • Never been a big fan of Paul, but I gotta say this song is very very good!

  • All Paul's work is great, alone and with other people (Beatles,Wings, etc.). Musicians like him make the world better. It's a pity peopel listento hateful music that teaches bad morals instead of good old songs like the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Joe Brown, Eric Clapton, etc.) GO SIR PAUL!

  • @4FabBEATLES How sanctimonious...

  • @4FabBEATLES Yeah, we need more moral music from Paul, like his songs about hallucinogenic drugs and sleeping with married women! :-)

  • I believe that this was Macs last commercial hit. No?

  • listen to his 2005 Chaos and Creation in the backyard album, it is great.

  • No he did a song called 'Dance Tonight' in 2007 and 'Ever Present Past' in the same year, both on his last album 'Memory Almost Full' but he'll be back with another amazing album!!

  • @MrMoviemaster26 he released 3 albums under the fake name The FIreman the newest one is "Electric Arguments" and its awesome

  • i love love love this song

  • beauty!

  • Great song from Macca. The Steve Miller sound really works well on it. Flaming Pie is also a great album with many gems.

  • Hacía como 10 años que no escuchaba esta rolita, que buenos recuerdos.

  • amo esta cancion!!

  • beautiful

  • See my live video of Paul in Germany, then you never said he is dead ;O)

  • Paul Mc CARTNEY is not dead !

    How old are you ?

  • haha, kidding! I know hes alive and I love this song!! :D

  • paul ain't deaed

  • WEPLA!

  • lol

    are you an idiot?

  • yes :D

  • lol XD

  • This whole album was good, actually. The sad thing is right after this was released, his dear wife Linda passed away, and I think it took a lot out of him. If you look at pictures in 1997 and then in 1999, he looks a lot older in two years.

But yea, if you like this song, definitely check out the rest of the album - it's really worth it. I played mine so much that the CD got all scratched up, but I still have Flaming Pie on the iPod.

  • Go Steve!

  • ¿puede un genio como Paul McCartney llamar y trabajar con otro genio como Jeff Lynne? porque esta cancion y "the world tonight" es muy parecido al caracteriztico sonido de la E.L.O.

  • Paul is Paul, the greatest...

    From Mexico city.

  • To me, this is one of Macca's best. Excellent lyrics and music. Reflects his basic view of life, I think.

  • Yeah! Seriously underrated tune in my opinion

  • I agree 100 percent.

  • Wish I could write tunes like this. I've tried to but I've come to the conclusion that you either have it or you don't.

  • Hermosa canción donde se nota la mano del maestro Jeff Lynne!!!!

  • John Llenon was the master.

  • Look look James surfing yeah ! :D

  • this song is great and so is world tonight ur taste of music is shit if u dont like this...legit u must eat shit if u dont like this! pm is great

  • Beautiful song, I think Sir Paul used here a little of Harrison´s style, and although some uncultured protozoo

don´t like it , Mr. Lennon did very pretty

    music too!!

  • Great song. Sir Paul is the best. Period.

  • Umm, I think your're thinking of Lennon. This is Mccartney. Hardly think marrying Ono's what killed Lennon.

  • if you had a brain, you probably would find a better thing to say. If...

  • I can't figure out how you manage to type this comment since it's obvious you don't have a fucking brain. Miracles of life....

  • genio

  • anyone seen the movie, fathers day? with robin williams and billy crystal... this is the intro song i think it would make a better film clip than this one :)

  • oh yes!|i'ts the better film that i have seen before

  • its great. The entire fleaming pie album is

  • does anyone know what model guitar that is that steve miller is using??

  • paul is alive! not dead, 'bourlivak88'

  • This album was excellent. There weren't a lot of great works in the '90s, but this album was packed with them. Wish he'd do something this good again.

  • Honestly spoken, I'm rather a Paul Simon than Paul Mc Cartney fan. But this song always makes me want to cry. Talk about "having to not look for a partner and "let it go" " ; which of us really DOESN'T desire to find someone to love?

  • one of his best?

  • When Paul is good he might just be untouchable

  • this is way better than the world tonight

  • The World Tonight was horse shit.

  • a paraguay sique

  • Great song to have Steve Miller on. Another great Paul song!!!

  • What a great song this is.

Paul is so versatile with all of his fab songs: )

  • I heard this the first time it was ever played on the radio..an instant CLASSIC!!!

  • So Beatles!

  • my god what i love this man and his music. he is my hero !!!!!!

  • Paul is the greatest musician ever, and that not just ordinary words from me,this is absolutely verity.

    P.S Great song!!!

  • GRANDE PAUL!

  • LOL Paul McCartney likes 'Young Boys' born in 1997! nah jk

    my favorite beatle <3

  • One of Macca's finest/

  • CUANDO VIENE AL PERU?

  • so beautiful.i´m love this song, lovely greetings and 5 Stars

  • ♥PauL↔Linda♥

  • I love this song, awesome!

  • Nice to see Linda in there.

Great song from a great album.

Thanks for uploading this....and in STEREO!

  • what a man =]

  • paul mccartney's a complete GENIUS!

  • Awesome tune! Paulie's my #1 man!

  • The best there is!

  • It is absolutely awesome. Adorable.

  • I LOVE this song :D

  • i'm not a huge fan of paul's solo career but this is a damn good song, with great guitar by the legendary steve miller

  • i agree

  • I guess you are forgetting 'Pipes Of Peace' it had great songs such as 'So Bad' and the track that gives the name to the albun

  • When I heard this one first time, I thought that it's from 60's... Great sound and great song...

  • I heard that he composed this at the beginning of 70s, but it remained unrecorded until 1997..probably for the case he wouldnt be able to compose any good stuff :D

  • paul is 67 and he still writing very good songs you have not heard mem almost full geat songs long live paul

  • This is the greatest, happiest song in the 90's.

  • yeah i agree, the problem with the 90's is that you can only remember it by cobain!

  • Co....who?

  • this is awsome

  • easily one of the greatest song writers of the 20th century.

  • Dear Sir McCartney, I remember the Apple Records rooftop concert on Jan. 30, 1969 at lunch. And we are in Jan. 2009. We are really 'Young Boy(s)'...

    Giuseppe Pilone

    Andreas Gebauer

    Angelina von Webel

  • you can tell it's Jeff Lynne on production

  • It sounds like it, but this song was actually produced by Paul with some help from Steve Miller, who plays the guitar solo (he makes a brief cameo in the video) and sings backing vocals. But Lynne did co-produce much of "Flaming Pie" though. I do think some of Lynne's production style rubbed off on Paul!

The whole album has a Jeff Lynne sort of vibe to it, even though George Martin produced a couple of tracks, in addition to the songs Paul did with Steve Miller, which he self-produced.

  • Flaming pie was paul's best album since Band on the run..I like Memory almost full as well but this album has that vibe to it..

  • I think that both Tug of War and Flowers in the Dirt are also excellent efforts since Band on the Run. Actually throw in Back to the Egg too which is very under rated.

  • Yes I agree with you there those would be all my faves along with this album and BOTR..VENUS AND MARS and RAM are worth a listen too.

  • Absolutely. This was truly an amazing album! This was really back to the basics and it is beautiful.

  • one of the best songs ever :)
