  • that's a nice tree in the background. lol anything moving fast next to the camera that close is going to cause that rod effect.

  • Honestly i am a huge believer of unkown creatures and aliens nd such . But this to me looks like an insect :P but you never know :3

  • i like how people just tr to explin this with things they see on the internet or just make them just to stay optical

  • game cam on video at night..slow shudder lengthens the body and show wingflaps elongated..i have the exact same video from a game cam video of mine. I switched to "photo" instead of video and guess what...perfect pics of moths!

  • watch "kentucky skyfish", :22 seconds

  • Its a leaf dumbass

  • They slowed the shutter speed. This was on fact or fake

  • @nixontv1 If you really think that, you need to see Jose Escamilla's work on rods. He is using 1/10,000 shutter speed and those are VERY clear. He has captured video with moths, bees, birds and rods in the same sequence, which rules out that theory.

  • Stupidity like in some of these comments is priceless.

  • i love the bitchy comments lmfao every time looooool

  • Its just a photograph with a prolonged exposure of a flying insect or bat. Because it was in the foreground ans possibly more exposed to light than the surroundings behind it, it appears as if it were one long thing.

  • This is in WIKIPEDIA along with a picture of dozens of "rods"-More pple using these pretty hitec recorders "... investigators have shown that rods are mere tricks of light which result from how images (primarily video images) of flying insects are recorded and played back. In particular, the fast passage before the camera of an insect flapping its wings has been shown to produce rodlike effects, due to motion blur, if the camera is shooting with relatively long exposure times"

  • I have one of these on my game cam...although mine is not a pic but a real time 30 second video....not a moth...I have seen several insects and other anomalies, but never anything like I caught on my game cam last night...My police buddy, my wife and myself are in the video. This is what I caught on video....If this isn't a "Rod" I do not know what is. Check it out on youtube under..... Rod insect caught on video in northern Michigan. Posting it today...

  • Nah, it's just some moths trying to reenact the Human Centipede.

  • These are insects...most likely a moth.

  • They are NOT insects, insects don`t fly through peoples heads or through brick walls, these things go through anything and everything and since when do insects grow as big as some as these do up to many METERS in length...

  • @tintin777ful

I don't know what you're talking about but the pics in this video are of insect flying in front of the camera..

  • @tintin777ful Have you not seen any of the high speed camera work debunking rods? Years ago...you should check out those videos!

  • Chuck Norris' semen?

  • Why wont any of these insect explanations address the rods seen against a clear sky far away? The super huge and super fast rods remain unexplained.

  • rods arent anything but debris, bugs birds , ect getting distorted by shitty cameras

  • Have you compared this rod flight with a moth flight? any difference?

  • Its just 5 moths having sex on air..

  • That isn't a rod, it is a gorilla

  • If you put it in an oven it will be a Hot Rod!

  • I think its a Rod thanks for sharing.

  • I have proof of aliens

  • @stanley03061973 show me man

  • It is a moth. I have many such photos from my trail cam.

  • le vesaria el culo a kien atrapara uno vivo jajaj

  • OMG! IT'S AN ALIEN!!!! haha yeah right, no it's a moth.

  • you guys are idiots, it's clark kent doing barrel rolls!

It's definitely a moth on a cheap camera doing couple seconds of open shutters

  • This is just the motion-blurred pattern of a flying moth.

  • it's a normal moth

  • what kind of moths do you live around? o_O

  • lol

  • @SHITTYmaKITTY Just regular old moths and reall slow ass cameras that are just perfect for MOTION BLUR.

  • @krnekej2000 looks nothing like a moth mate, its more like an elephant, that would be just as stupid a comment as what you made

  • @krnekej2000 moths cant fly as fast as a rod can do.. ~_~
