  • i love the sounds of all cars, especially ferrari's but for some reason, larger displacement just does it for me.

  • The second-most desirable car ever created - a Can-Am beast touched by the hand of Dan. Almost as lust-worthy as the Eagle Weslake. aaaaaaahh

  • I wish in one hand and shit in the other.......

  • I'm in fucking love with this car...

  • What a sound !

  • think it sounds good at idle ?? (yeah, it does actually) you should hear this thing at speed once !! OMG it sounds incredible. Andy brings it to Road America every July for the KIC (Kohler Intl. Challenge) vintage festival..

  • @ProfessorIgor I believe Spark has a 1/43 scale model coming out soon of this car.

  • @ProfessorIgor In the early 70's we sat at the Corkscrew.Could hear the downshifts up to the cork, then full throttle.....no sound like it!

  • Damn.... that's nice!!!

  • Beautiful thing!

    Coisa Linda!

  • when that thing revved so hard....i thought, satan? i thought he said something, it scared me : )

  • OMG that is the single most wickedly bad ass racing machine ever!!!!!

  • one of my favorites!

  • At 0:47 the devil cleans his throat.

  • @FukEmUp145 rofl....seriously?

  • If you could rate 1million stars I would for this.

  • nice car and sound

  • Seems to me like the large spoiler as oppose to upright air foils, port and starboard, would have had enough down force to become a heavy drag at higher speeds. That's a bigger wing than we run on our dragster. Somebody set me straight on that...

  • @Cliner97 You could be right as I'm fairly certain the big wings were only seen during the 1969 season. Chaparral experimented with big wings and Porsche even had one for the front in the early 70's until they designed the 917/30 using a wind tunnel and came up w/ the most aerodynamic design.

  • Jesus these cars were/are some ungodly beasts. Like a freakin fuel drag car put to road course use. Wicked buggers.

  • Sears Point Man I Miss Going There

  • 0:46-0:47<33333

  • How can something possible sound so sweet?!

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

    not normal sound :D

    WOUNDERFOUL

    only wooooooooooow

this is 1 of the ebst sound i heard ever

  • Yah, it has Dan Gurney's number (48) and his AAR color scheme.

  • It would be so beautiful without the insane wing

  • This is actually the Mcleagle, a Mclaren M6B customer car sold to Dan Gurney's All American Racers. Dan can't leave anything stock, so he tried to "out-trick" the factory by reworking the suspension, adding a big-block chevy, and adding the rear wing mounted to the suspension uprights as on the M8B. Note the Gurney Eagle Indycar front wheels-very different from the standard Mclaren parts.
