This looks like a Traxxas video. I got an old E-Maxx and a T-Maxx. They cost about the same to get and keep running. Batteries should be replaced every 2 years for the best performance. Both trucks are very fast and fun to drive. With a few mods, they can get faster and become even more fun to drive.

@tanny1018 hey tanny - yes this is an electric rc truck. It's a Traxxas E-Maxx 1/10 4WD and it is very powerful and can easily be mistaken for a gas powered rc truck because it is so powerful :)

@FastGasRemoteControl i know this is an old vid, but your comment of can be mistaken as gas powered becuase its so powerful thing..... um i race on road elec 1/10 we had a race with the top elec driver aggainst the top nitro driver, and elec managed to out run the nitro by 2.5 secs on a 5 min race, close race and good to watch, but the power is nearly the same these days

@tanny1018 the new flux rc cars are really fast :L im gettin a nitro hpi bullet which goes 66 mph ( 100 kph) and the electric one (flux) goes the same speed but is silent , gotta have that little roarin engine tho for me :)

Cover the reciever and connections with Liquid Rubber and you're good to go..Worked on my MGT 8.0

As it is Nitro just allow 5 - 10 seconds for the glow plug to heat and it will start

yes it can run in the cold since its electric its easier than gas. Nitro trucks need heat to start. for Example if u leave your nitro truck in the garage or cold palace it wont start because the engine is to cold. u have to keep the GAS and the truck in a warm place to start it easy in the snow.

they have fast fifteen minute chargers for the 7.2 batteries and i would prefer gas to but i heard that driving them in the snow was bad for them just cause there gas dont mean they dont have electrical work in them like the reciever for the remote in it if snow got in there wouldnt it be fried?

that depends if you have a water proof setup the riecevers are normally sealed off pretty good.although after every time you drive it through mud,water,or snow you need to clean it off thouroughly.because the recievers are the most likely electronics to get fried by water.

i think electric is better than nitro. It is much better to maintain, you can reach high speeds and there is a lot less noise

with the advent of brushless motors/esc's and lipo batt.(good lipo's) electrics can easily out perform a basic nitro(maxx's,savages,etc etc)but to me you will spend more for electric compared to nitro. nitro fuel is about 9-11 for a quart and 5 or so bucks for glow plugs.nitro's are more finninky to tune then just popping in a batt and off u go.i like both but i cant afford 500 for a brushless set up and good batts.keep on bashing

Basicly Ads out do Dis-ads for electric, if your a petrol head them thats cool but for the most part, electric is a better investment.

Electric is cleaner and much easier to maintain them nitro.

Nitro is also much noisier then electric and depending upon where you use your nitro RC toys, people will complain about all the noise it'll make.

And you don't have to worry about the use of fuel.

If you're into nitro that cool - nothing wrong with that - I post videos and talk about both of them on my website and blog but there is a difference.

@eatmyveg electris need 2 be charged usually 4 hrs for about 15 mins of drive, petrol take 10 seconds 2 refill then keep going!!
