Basically he's just explaining the trick. He says that he doesn't know precisely where the trick is from, but thinks its Chinese. He tells the colors of the pom poms in various langagues, then he says the problem is when you pull on this cord here, this other pom pom raises, when you pull on this cord here the other pom pom goes down etc. Then he pulls them apart and says and when I do this there's nothing in between.
