that specific way he got himself killed showes that he was after finding himself a better way to get rid of all that jazz.... i'm telling about a BETTER, much pleasant way to get out, than any other has to face. So it pushes me to think about his personality as one that had neeeded a special treetment from itself, fulfilling almost all of his wishes. it is going well with his social role as a an artist but could REALY turn himself to that dirty path as thay told so.... anyways RIP

I sang this to my ex at our wedding only to find out later our wedding was a farce because he lied to me and was still with his child's mother back home. It was painful when I found out the truth but time certainly heals all wounds. Thank you Lord for helping e to get over it and remain sane.

In a matter of months, I have lost a cat, had my health worsen to the point of being forced to move against my will, been threatened with eviction, fined $50 for small things, gotten MRSA, and had life-threatening surgery where I could have died just from the anasthesia. despair.....and I need to feel hope... I still have supportive friends while others don't know what to me. I am not one to surrender to suicide easily, but I read your comment about the composer and his method of death and nearly threw up....and wept... I doubt the singer would want suicide associated with her work, nor her fans...never mind a string of them....and I may seem strong myself, but now understand despair like few can. @eightyeighteightytwo Correction: It is his son Nicolas who has been charged with the murder- not him. Joseph Brooks was charged in 2009 with luring 13 women to Manhattan to audition for movie roles, then drugging and sexually assaulting them. As far as I am aware, he was not charged with murder before his suicide.

Wow, learn how to to write lyrics. The song goes "Alone in the dark, BUT now you've come along and the word is Adrift not "at drift". Also this song is lame and cliche. People who remember and love this song from 1977 are sad sappy suckers. It amazes me that I believe there are some folks who just are so empty in life that they look for other people to condemn and hurt..
