I don't believe that this device tells you what it is feeling, I think it tells you things in response to your voice, such as when she told him to speak. It said, "Just listen to me!" I think it was because there might be a small microphone in it somewhere used to make response based on your voice. In other words, it responds to you, not what the dog says.

But if it really does work (And I will probably buy this when I get another dog,) Then that would be just epic.

I heard a dog once said "I wanna eat a cat!" In her barking language, all i did was put that dog device on her, i had no idea dogs can use full sentences when they bark and you have no idea what they're saying until you put that dog thing on. Jee! Whats dog for hello? lol

Do you know why this is bad? Even if "bowlingual" works, it still results in this:

Instead of trying to listen to their dogs and understand their dogs, they look at a screen and know what the dog "is saying". They don't communicate with words anymore and they don't look at their dog for a few minutes and communicate with him, trying to understand what he says...

@vallyshooter it's not a language with different words or units but different tones mean different moods. it is useless in a sense that, as a dog owner you pretty much already know what the dog wants. but it's not true that there's noting to translate because the barks are not random. for example, there are differences between an excited bark, an attention seeking bark and a warning/"angry" bark.
