I am a composer and I want to be known for being original, alot of people now want to be like Hans Zimmer or other popular film scorers. Which is fine, those are good artists and have good styles. But I want to go a different path. I am working on a series of 3 symphonies for the state of Colorado, and what I have planned, as far as I know, have never been done before.

Along the same lines of your 'glitch' piano theme, I suggest you have a listen to some Hauschka if you're not already familiar with his work. If you search the name on the NPR website the first result will lead you to some interesting videos of his.

Could you elaborate on what a shame-based culture is to you and give examples? I think it's an interesting term and I've never heard it before. Cheers
