Chinese are shit.

  • @hello520111 youtube really needs to set an education limit for their users... comments like yours makes me wonder how stupid people can be.

  • @hello520111 What you've just said is the most insanely idiotic thing I've ever read, at no point in your rambling incoherent comment were you even close to anything that could considered to be facts about people in China, thank you for insulting 1,352,953,851(that is exactly 95% of the chinese population) chinese people. Everyone who has read your comment are now dumber for having to read it. You mind as well just post your next comment in 5 words "I am a racist pig".

  • @willchan4 considering all u want to express in 5 words, u are the idiot. the funny thing is they might not even know that most of them have no self awareness of shame, none.

  • Does anyone know where I can find that clip of Joo from this vid on youtube?

  • Apart from their 'handshakes' at the end of a match I saw enough of the Chinese 'human face' at the recent UAE champs thankyou. Type in "Ai Fukuhara Controversy at the UAE Open 2011". Both Wen J. or her coach (who both had a perfect view) are dirty filthy cheats. Being 'human' is not about winning at all costs - its about having consideration for other people and about having some sense of ethics and morality.

  • @glenngould99 It was an edge ball and Wen Jia should admitted it. So what? It's only Wen Jia's 'human face' and not Chinese. Not every chinese player behaves this way...

  • Most posters missed 2 important points why the Chinese win and dominate the TT field. That is, they win, not because they are robots, machines, or inhuman, but because they are the best! When you win, you have the bragging right, so you use it. When others lose, they can have many excuses, so you ignore them. As for the Chinese domination, dominance is the first rule of nature. Anything which dominates will survive. Survival is the second rule of nature. So when they dominate, they survive. #LOL

  • @LookB3hindU so are you saying that being good at your job makes you a machine?

  • @DaKrazedKyubizt <----- funny nigger English ! He likes to post his ignorance and laugh at his retarded wit... poor nigger! HAHAHAHA!

  • Really fantastic video, and the song could not have been any beter chosen. I'm glad you share those great videos with all of us!

  • My warmest Thanks ttCrawsaive

    I totally agree with you!!!!!!!

    PS. I am from Greece

  • Very emotional video Crawsaive,I liked your message! And rare points also.

    Good work;)

  • Besides, I can totally understand why Chinese players no longer give a damn about winning - it's usually just 4 Chinese in the semis, and in the finals, i'ts just like, the 100th time xu xin has played ma long, so he doesn't really care if he wins or loses.

  • Also, I feel that the Chinese have great commentators like Liu Guoliang who can describe the different nuances of play during a game, and that's another reason they feel that their players are so different - he trained a lot of the top guys, so he knows their strengths inside and out.

  • @gsofficial

But we all dont, and i can tell what player i c on 240p quality, just because i recognize the way they ove around and how their strokes are. I admit they all r all hardhitters, but you cant say the difference is hard to recognize. Believe me, it's not. U just need some basic table tennis understandings to see the differences.

  • @EetSmakelijk okay, let me just repeat my main point: according to you, it takes very close scrutiny and a long time of watching the game to tell the difference between the chinese players. now, i contend that this very fact alone is why the rest of the world sees them as robotic.

  • @gsofficial

I didnt say u need to watch a lot to recognize it, I only said that I watched them a lot. Doesnt mean thats required to recognize the players. If there were no differences between the players an they were like robots, tell me why they beat each other 4-0 sometimes, and a month later its the other way round. If their game was a system like u think, they would get the same result anytime against each other, or play 99-97 in the 7th set bcuz they r so the same...

  • @EetSmakelijk them being robotic has nothing to do with their skill - they can play well, they can play poorly, but the fact is, xu xin and ma lin playing each other looks like mirror images regardless of whether xu xin wins 4-0. that's just not the case when, say, samsonov plays boll - they play almost every single shot differently.

  • @gsofficial

Well, lets just leave it at this, since u dont even see the diffrence between XX and ML, I wont bother u anymore. Just enjoy whatever u like about table tennis, and I mean this, no offense. Everyone enjoys it their own way. I still really like watching the Chinese in action, one more than the other, but for me it's no problem they dominate the TT world. If the game is nice to watch, I dont care what country the players are from. Have a nice day! ;)

  • @gsofficial I'm sorry, but you're probably a noob in table tennis, there's no way you can have some skills if you're not able to see differences between chinese players. I mean how can you say you feel like looking mirror images when looking a ML vs XX match ? Those two have a style more different than players like Samsonov and Boll. Xu Xin is a countertospin rallies player, while Ma Lin is a third ball attacker ; Boll and Samsonov are both topspin rallies player although Samsonov's more passive

  • @gsofficial Comparing Xu Xin vs Ma Lin with Samsonov vs Boll is a horrible comparison. Xu Xin and Ma Lin are both penholders, trained by the same coach, are team mates and play for the same country. Samsonov and Boll don't even play for the same country. On top of that there are definitely differences between Xu Xin and Ma Lin. They both have the same base technique but Xu Xin employs a lot more RPB and Ma Lin definitely uses more tricky weird shots.

  • ma lin is one of the most tragic persons in table tennis

  • i like Wang liquin attitude at 0:56 . He is a very classy player

  • Thanks for the video !!!

  • the kid at 1:55 in the green shirt is wang hao right?

if not then they are looking damn alike!

  • thank you ttcrawsaive! i hope all people knows that after seeing this video...

this is one of the greatest tabletennisvideo ever!

  • i don't get it

  • hahahah show the humanity of chinese players by showing them losing points to... other chinese players. or losing like one point in games they eventually won. and closeups on their completely expressionless faces. ridiculous

  • @gsofficial if you don't think this shows the humanity of chinese players then you are clearly void of any empathy/emotion.

  • very nice and inspirational vid

  • Impressive bro im mad nów

  • Comment removed

  • did ma lin´s grandafather die or his father? very sad

but very nice, emotinal video i really like it

  • where did you find that video with the kids ?

  • Like how we go to school hoping to become doctors one day, some children in China go to table tennis schools hoping to become the best in the sport they love. They practiced and pushed themselves so much since they were small that each of their attacks seems effortless, like how doctors study for years before mastering medicine. The feeling of losing a match for a Chinese pro feels like losing a patient for a doctor.

I really don't understand how some people can call them machines.

  • @ABCme93 I think they're called machines because they're mostly expressionless robots who play exactly the same.

  • @gsofficial They play exactly the same? I don't think you know table tennis very well. emotionless? In the recent UAE open, Ma Lin lost to Jun Mizutani and he was clearly angry and frustrated with himself. And Jun Mizutani is a Japanese player (if you didn't know, which I don't think you do)

  • @ABCme93 if you're referring to how penhold players play differently from shakehand, then, yes, i do know that fairly obvious difference. however, there is very little difference in the shakehand style of zhang jike, ma long, and every other shakehand player to emerge from the chinese TT factory. and if ma lin was angry, it sure as hell didn't show on his face. he was looking down slightly... and that is the most emotion this guy can find in all of his tournaments?

  • @gsofficial there is actually a pretty big difference between the shake hand players. Chen Qi's style is pretty different. And Ma Long and Zhang Jike actually do have a very different style. Zhang Jike's game relies more on power and spin than speed, whereas Ma Long doesn't actually have a lot of power, but a lot of speed. Zhang Jike also relies more on his short game and flips, and then powerful spinny loops, Ma Long's short game isn't as good, he just is so fast and consistent from both wings

  • @scylla24 Seriously, watch Chen Qi vs Ma Long from the German Open, they play EXACTLY the same.

  • @gsofficial oh no. everyone have his own style to play.

  • @UsakoKirei I'm not arguing that, I'm just saying that all the Chinese shakehand players are more similar to each other than the European shakehand players are. It's like the "Chinese School" feels that it has found the most optimal way to play, and everyone trained there learns it. They're probably right about that way being the best, but it's still boring, and makes players all very similar.

  • @gsofficial i guess, i've missunderstand you xD

  • @gsofficial

That was my opinion too, long ago. It's just clear that u haven't watched them enough to see the difference, like someone who is not into table tennis would not se the difference between Boll and Chen Qi. There's a clear difference between the Chinese players: ZJK has pretty short strokes, his BH is a bit like OHS's, and he prefers to play right off the bounce. CQ's FH is comparable to WLQ's bcuz of the stretched arm, but thats all. WH uses rpb way more than ML or XX. I could go on.

  • @EetSmakelijk

    OSE*

  • @EetSmakelijk the mere fact that the difference between Boll and Qi is readily apparent to the casual fan, but that the difference between chinese players takes a long, long time to see is the reason they're called robots. The fact that their styles are very difficult to differentiate is exactly what makes them seem robotic. That's my entire point.

  • @gsofficial you must be joking, because Chen Qi and Ma Long's game are not even close. The very fat that one is left handed means that he has to adjust his style of play and tactics accordingly. But even if you ignore that, Chen Qi's style is all about power and being right at the table for a all or nothing killer, and his game isn't suited for farther away from the table. Ma Long doesn't actually have that much power, and his game is more to get towards the middle range and just outloop

  • @ABCme93 besides, if you want to show an emotional chinese player, why not Chen Qi or Chen Weixing? Weixing plays for Austria now, it's true, but he's still chinese...

  • @gsofficial They are called machines because they are well trained, everything becomes 2nd nature, when their opponents hit a ball, they automatically know what the right hit back is, and they execute perfectly. Not because they are emotionless. Why is it, that we praise the best athletes, like Federer for being clutch, calm and poised in even the most crucial points, for not getting angry, but always effortlessly executing. But when it comes to Chinese players we call them emotionless robots.

  • @scylla24 no, they're called machines because they rarely show any emotion. Watch the end of the UAE open for example - when Wang Hao wins, what one would expect to be a very emotional victory, all he does is yell "cho" like, once. No smiles, no nothing, just completely dead facial affect. Whether this is just a part of asian culture is irrelevant.

  • @gsofficial What do you call the cho then? He does smile, and wave the the crowd some. When Boll wins, he smiles and waves to the crowd thats nothing special, not really that much different, or with really any more emotion.

Chinese players don't necessarily celebrate all that much, they win all the time, its nothing special to them. You are only looking at the small tournaments. Why don't you bring up the Olympics or the WTTC? Look at Ma Lin's olympic reaction, or wang hao or WLQ at the wttc

  • @scylla24 see exactly - the chinese players don't celebrate all that much, they don't get mad all that much, so they seem robotic. agreed, ma lin had a very strong reaction at the end of the olympics. however, the majority fo the time, he just looks bored. i can totally understand WHY he looks bored, but it doesn't matter - showing very little emotion makes you seem robotic.

  • @ABCme93 You have absolutely no idea what the system in China is like. These people didn't choose TT, the TT system in China chose them.

  • @EnnesX hmmm not really, the kids may not really choose, but its not really the TT system that chooses them. The Chinese national team only starts looking at people once they are 10-12. It is the children's parents who usually are past table tennis players themselves, who first start enter their children to a training facility, or start training themselves at the age of 6. If you show a lot of potential, then yes the Chinese national team will choose you, but its still the parents decision first

  • @scylla24 What exactly are you disagreeing with again?

  • @EnnesX I am disagreeing that these people don't choose TT. They or their parents do choose table tennis. It's not China that just picks people out of nowhere and tells them you have to play TT.

  • @scylla24 How is offering a pre-teen an entire career path not the system choosing the players again?

  • @EnnesX Because the preteen is the person who chooses whether to start on the path in the first place, and if he wants can leave he can do so. It's really not that different from most sports in other countries when you really consider it. Yes the Chinese sports system is all collected together, and sponsored by the Chinese government, but in truth, if you want to be an elite player in any sport, there is really only one general path you can walk to achieve that in any country.

  • @scylla24 You are arguing with me for the sake of it. It is extremely annoying to even have to clarify that I didn't mean the "system chooses you" equating to the government swooping into homes in the middle of the night to snatch children from their bedrooms. -As a practical matter- few to none who are offered the opportunity to enter the national program in China refuse. This is a -stark- contrast to the rest of the world where no one makes a career choice til theyre at least out of school

  • @EnnesX no one makes the choice until they are out of school? Yes they do make that choice, maybe not directly but by their actions. You cannot become a professional these days without basically devoting nearly all your time to it. Sports like basketball, baseball, football, yeah they go to school, but in affect they have already devoted all their time and effort to their sport. The difference between those who play sports in college or hs, and those who want to become pros is night and day

  • @scylla24 I agree and appreciate your view. I know that those who make up their mind early in life plus a burning desire always succeed in their chosen field despite everything. They’ll become what they think about. You’re a very wise person indeed! I always give you thumb-ups! #LOL

  • @ABCme93 I don't know either. A lot of people criticize them for the lack of creativity but maybe, just maybe, the Chinese practice so hard, are so dedicated and play with such speed and precision that they rarely need to improvise or play unconventional tricky shots. The top players always seem to be in the right position to make devastating attacks (their intense training allows them to do this). Maybe European players are more creative because they have to be.

  • @ABCme93 cuz there eyes are weird

  • @seanfloler I think your eyes also weird too.

  • @0717yang lol i was kidding i have nothing against chinese i actually play ping pong and all my freinds insult me and i leave em speachless when they find out its the 2nd most played sport in the world, fucking italiens and there soccer ;)

  • @seanfloler it's cool, i just joking with you too. I also play pp to.

  • @0717yang :)

  • What did Zhang JIKE do in 2004 to be punished? Anyone?

  • @utahjai It wasn't mentioned at the Zhang Jike reportage at least so I have nothing

  • @utahjai he was kicked out from the national team

  • @BollForte94 Why did he get kicked out in 2004? He seemed to me a very quiet and hard working player. What could have he done to deserve that? Anyway he is back now and doing well.

  • @utahjai he didnt listen to his coach .. he was kicked out from the national team although he had the conditions at that time, even better then ma longs ;)

  • i reallly like the video.

do u know why ma lin was crying?

  • @k1arim That was the match where Ma Lin found out his father passed away just half an hour before play time. Even though he lost that match, he still fought through it until the end. After the match, he let out his emotions and they even interviewed him.

  • @bob5899

thanks a lot for the details. i had no idea about that.

do u know which match was that he played while knowing his father passed away?

i think i would like to watch that..he's a REAL professional..i don't think many players would be able to play

    in this situation

  • @k1arim His grandpa died

  • thx for sharing.. tats some videos we need...

  • very nice video..

song is: Gary Jules - Mad World

  • amazing, very emotional :) good work
