Even now, we look much faster with Miles, Crayton, and Ogletree.
Roy has skills but.....It's just not working for some reason. Maybe he's the star late in the season. (I'm grasping...I know)
did you see TO yesterday? i understand that the guy is like a parasite but come on, his talent is undeniable and unmatched. if we had Miles and TO on the field together, we would be giving the NFL nightmares-- true story. aint nobody worried about roy williams; hence miles is drawing the opposing teams best corners, not roy (i.e. asante samuels
I saw the numbers but I have yet to see the highlights. I'm a believer in a #1 WR. I think you need someone that can beat any corner repeatedly and the defense is forced to roll coverage to their side. It doesn't have to be TO if they can't get along but it HAS to be someone. Then we would see the normal Witten....Hell, he's looked like Cooley this year...A great TE on a struggling offense will get them too much attention from the Defense.
exactly. and it would affect miles as much as it would witten. At this point in his career, Miles isnt a #1 WR; he's an ELITE #2, but Roy's inability to pose a threat has essentially forced Miles to become #1. Just look at what Randy Moss' presence does for Wes Welker. A T.O type WR would do that for Miles, and we'd have a dangerrrousss offense.
greenIce, remember Shaq and Kobe. Remember how they were at each others throats. Guess what, they got 3 rings together. Romo and TO didnt have to be buddy buddy. But guess what, Tony Romos best receiver so far is, TO. Him and Roy get along great, but how good has that done so far?

No, we can't do that but that is because our offense has too many three and outs. You give those teams enough chances and they will put some points on the board.
Yiur right about rat. but i think they put him the middle cause of the ability to make tackles for losses on the run, and his penetration kills alot of run plays. Its when the d is on the field all game and his body weight isnt enough to be able to control the line like he does early. I think the set up is fine are ends arent meant for sacks. I just got off the phone saying the exact same thing....and you know what? It feels good. If I was expecting a Super Bowl my head would be in knots right now...but I'm so happy we are 7-3...so happy.
exactly! i mean if it wasnt for jason witten's calf, we would have likely beat the giants; and if we hadn't decided to bank the entire broncos game on sam hurd (WTF!?) we'd probably have one that one too.
I'm sorry but I almost lost it! I was worried. Didn't think they would pull it off with all the penalties. *SMH* But the object of the game is to win and WIN is what we did.

I hear you, but, like I said, I don't really see this situation changing as long as he owns our boys. I wouldn't say "ever" though. I mean, he was the GM in the '90's after all. I think we just need some strong leadership. I think Brooking is helping with that on D but we need it on the offensive side of the ball too.
I am veryhappy!! Roy Williams needs to be benched...Oggletree. Let Barber heal and put the two haded monster of Jones and Choice in. What are your thoughts?
I'm sorry guys but Jason Garrett needs to be fired and that's all there is to it. This guy does not know what he is doing. He doesn't know how to mix it up. He does things that work and then he abandons those things. What happened to the Wildcat? It was WORKING. Why why why are we STILL not using Felix Jones more? He can't get back into his groove if we don't play him. Why are we still forcing the ball to Roy Williams who apparently can't catch? FRUSTRATED.
You know....I'm just giving them the year. They have almost already exceeded my expectations for this season so I'm giving them all a free pass unless we crash in Dec again.
However...if we do not get a playoff win...Wade must go. He's had a long time with a very talented team. Sorry.
I hear ya...and I agree. And yeah, Wade will need to go too if they fail to make the playoffs or if they get in and lose again. I like Wade...i really do...but he does not get results.
Can anyone say 7-3! Who cares how you win as long as you win. What do the Deadskins have to show for their effort - a loss! End of story! hahaha. Next: Oakland on Turkey Day!!! Should be a gr8 game.
Dallas deserved to lose that game. Redskins played better in all four quarters. Yes, it is a win for Dallas but I would be very worried about this team as the season enters the final stretch. I do not see this Dallas team winning many games if this is the best they can do against one of the worst teams in football. This in not the season that Dallas makes produces anything productive in the post-season.
Well...my offseason thinking was right along there with Emmitt...A little better but certainly didn't expect a deep playoff run. I'm happy because we are exceeding my expectations...like a 360 degree turn from last year.
I think what happened to us Sunday was we began to play the REDSKINS' game instead of our own. If Barber doesn't fumble and we score a touchdown, I think the dynamics of the game change dramatically.
I hate to sound this way, but we've got to stop involving Roy Williams. He's a liability.
What did you think when you saw DeMarcus Ware talking to Romo before #9 went out there to help win the game?
I knew exactly what he was saying to Romo....I was thinking the same thing. One play away...
'It felt like we were in such a hole...but we weren't.
I just don't think we are playing top level football....but we won and there's tomorrow. If we don't up our play, we should beat the Raiders but might lose 4 of those last 5 killers...
That kind of ball won't cut it against the rest of the NFL -- you're right. But we have to see how much of that is NFC East familiarity and how much of it is Cowboys ineptitude (Remember how close the 2004 Week 15 game against the Eagles was compared to Week 10? 21-49 compared to 7-12).
then we'll beat you to make you 9-7. You beat the REDSKINS by 1 point and if not for a dick head call on the delay of game which cant happen if the prev. play was reversed it's 10-0 @ the half and a 16-0 final if they make 2 easy kicks
4 some reason, rock cartwright always kills us, i dnt get it, he old as hell, i heard he sat behind noah in kindergarden he so damn old, but watever, lol u talk bout winning ugly, there it is 4 u haha
the whole game, romo throwing to williams and we didn't do shit! offense was pathetic! Touchdown drive, he threw it to austin like 2 or 3 times! Watch some fuckin film garret!!! geez.
Raiders won because the Bengals shot themselves in the foot. Reason why the Cowboys will win on Thursday: Raiders are a much worst team than the Redskins and they dont have many players with no experience playing Thursday evening football.
now with philly, and new york hot on our tails the next three weeks will b crucial. everyone obiously knows the importance of the NY game, but my worries right now center more around san diego, and the saints. by week 14, and 15 this could b a whole new division.....good vid. man, keep em' comin...
i'll deff. take that win, i mean c'mon when its our worst offensive day this season, and we can still pull it out against a divisional rival its gotta say something. it seems like we either have a good day on the ground or a good day in the air most of the time. mad props to the defense today. now if our offense can just get on the same page as our d. then we'll be in the money...we shouldn't have a prob. against Oak... not saying we won't, but we shouldn't.
Romo is a good player with a good heart. I don't know why there are so many haters out there. Jealous maybe? I would put Romo up there in the top 4 this year with Favre, Manning, and Brees. Shango, another great video man. Keep it up and good luck to your Cowboys.
I like anyone that beats Dallass but i am an Eagles and Steelers fan i cheer on my State teams i'm not a fraud like most out of state Texas people i support the teams i grew up with.
And i still don't get why people not from Texas are still Cowboy fans they have not won a playoff game since 1996 and the future does not look real bright for you guys without a GM and a real owner.
ive never been to texas and i NEVER will unless its to attend a game. yet ive loved dallas since i was 6 and always will--winning is irrelevant to me standing behind them. and u dont get why we still like them even though they havent won a playoff game since 96? its cuz were true fans. get the fuck outta hereeee
So....by this rule....I'm from South Carolina so I should be an Atlanta Falcon fan because they were the closest team to my hometown....damn. Why didn't someone tell me before I spent over 30 years loving the Cowboys.....damn it.
I'll open The Atlanta Falcon Show tomorrow because I don't want to be known as a fraud...no way.
Gunshot! Wicked! Our offense is struggling, but a win is a win. What are your thoughts on Barber? Seem like he doesnt have it anymore. I love him but he not giving the classic Barber. The Raiders came back and beat the Bengals, so they will be on a high. Either way our offense has to show up we cant let up now.
Romo needs to work on getting his passes down.. He threw too many high balls to Roy. Other than that, Romo did it again! Broke away from a sack and did his thing!
Cowboys can turn it around.. We have all seen other teams do it in the past.. The year the Giants won, they were in a mid season slump as well, and then pulled it out at the end of the season, and started playing great football.
Everyone in the world knows that if the Cowboys play like this in December they will not make the playoffs and if they do then there one and done. All I can I say is I hope this is there come to Jesus Moment either that or the Raider game. If this team can just beat the Raiders they will have their heads set for the Giants, Chargers, Saints, Redskins, then Eagles.
OMG WILL SOMEONE TELL WADE TO BENCH ROY AND START PATRICK CRAYTON?!!!!!
Seriously.. How many balls does Roy have to drop... i hope he complains how romo doesnt throw him the ball right again... hes had a few thrown right at him.. last week, one went right through his hands and hit him in the facemask... something just isnt right with him atm..
Witten dropped two passes, Austin dropped a couple and so did Crayton. Bennett was the only one catching all the balls that were being thrown to him. The recievers didn't pick it up until that TD drive.
I'm thankful Dallas won, but after being so stressed out watching this game i did not celebrate at all, just a feeling of relief. Raiders are all ready on my mind, like you said "which team will show up". Skins could not score a TD, i'm very impressed with Dallas D but how long can they hold up?
People can say all they want but when the game was in flux... Tony Romo lead his down the field, scored, and won the game!! If that isn't a leader I don't know what is!! All that matters is the W.....
A win is a win. The NFL judges, and teams are measured by wins and loses. Plain and simple. Anyone who thought that this game vs the Deadskins was going to be anything other than what it was, does not know NF football, or this rivalry. When these two teams meet, shit happens, and blowouts one way or the other are the rare exception. NOT the norm. Today was a WIN and it IS what it IS.
I noticed how romo was off a little bit, but not by much. Romo was still elite even with that shot to the back early in the game. Barber was awsome today, jones looked fine, miles showed up a little late, but thats ok. Best of all, this defense is the real deal!
Now for roy...... i hate that guy. around 4 passes that could've been caught (and one wouldve been 30+ yards i believe) were dropped.
Well today we proved Emmit wrong. I want to see Jon Gruden calling this Offense next season. Kudos to Wade. Our Defense played a long time and kept their ground. We have too many Offensive weapons to be a sitting duck most of the time! Thats because theres a fucking former QB that played back up his entire career calling the shots on this talented high powerd offense! There is a reason why Jason Garrett played back-up all his life! If Romo was a little more rebellious, we be unfuckingstopable!
Man any time you can beat the Redskins it is a good day no matter what the score or how the game looked. Redskins tears are elixer for the Cowboy's wounds....
3 and 11 on 3rd down conversions is not going to cut it and I think we were even worse last week. Can't blame Romo today...looks like he was hurtin pretty bad out there, came through for us in the end though. Roy...paging...Roy. This guy is a joke...I hope we cut our losses in the off season and get a real playmaker that can catch a football. Can't believe I'm actually worried now for a freaking matchup against the Raiders.
awful game and glad I missed it. i should be happy my team won, but they're dying a lingering death and will probably make it 14 years without a playoff win later on. can't see why fans of dallas root for mediocrity when they should demand better coaches, leadership and teamwork.
Ya Ya Wins A Win but GOTTDAMN Jason Garrett U SUCK RED FRECKLED ASS Boy... Check his credentials. Y dahell did Jerry give this guy so much money when all he's done is be benched & Never was sought out to be an NFL QB by Any Team. How da hell can he be at the helm of our O . Props do our D AGAIN!!! Including Wade who gets the bad wrap for Jason's Bullshit Ass Offense Scheme
Not a very good game ehh I watched some of the other games. Cleveland and Detroit surprisingly was awesome. Congrats to the Boys just think how cocky Skins fans would get with 2 in a row eh...
Shango look at my front page look at the score Dallas 45 Skins 21 Take the first number Dallas score 4+skins 2=6 now Dallas 5+ Skins 2=7 thus 7to6......now add the skins score 21 2+1=3 wins...get it?
Roy williams.... Hes not just dropping catchable passes, but the ones he drops are BIG ones, in big situations... The guy i was sitting next to in the bar, and i just about lost our minds..Were going to need him in the december stretch.. man..
Why exactly is Roy Williams on our time ??? All he does is drop balls. The ball was in both his hand and he couldn't bring it down and secure it. Please fire him!!!!!
I'm now truly convinced that Dallas struggles being a running team. They ran the ball very well, but only could muster ZERO points. The lone TD drive consisted of ALL passing plays.
the cowboys bearley missed the bullet today,we can't have that type of mentality @ home and not against the teams that are comming, the chargers remember beat the giants at home and philly will be looking for payback,we play like today against those teams and hope for some 4th quarter heroics where done....don't get me wrong glad we won
Yeah...I don't think we are gonna be able to get a refund on that one. Just use him as much as we can....he was the ONLY Cowboy I lost faith in today.
He's killing this offense. I'm telling you. He's gun-shy. The Denver game changed him. He wasn't great BEFORE that game. Now he's playing with absolutely no confidence whatsoever. He's afraid of getting hit - hence dropped balls - and the precise route-runner he was touted to be is nowhere to be found.
We might b able to trade him next year 4 a 2nd or a 3rd and a player something. Bc those drops man i dunno. I just feel like bench him give Pc and Ogletree the reps. Bc all he is doing is taking away precious playing time!!!
good win, but the calls are bad. Even the commentators said that the coomented on the flags being ticky tacky this year. However, Ill take the win! The boys got to play better on offense though. The D has stepped up alot this year.
its better to have barely won than to "almost win" when i hear someone say " we almost won" i think of lottery scratch-offs u get like 2 matching 1,000,000 but u didnt get the 3rd. now what would u do with that ticket? same thing everyone would do tear it up n throw it away with no satisfaction coming from an almost winner.. so yea im glad we pulled off the W
I love getting you Dallass fans going you have one of the most clueless owners in the NFL and don't have what it takes see you next year your December dive is coming.
I was mad nervous when it was second and goal, but im glad that the Cowboys managed to pull it off. We just need to make sure Philly loses against Bears..I think thats who they are playing. but 7-3 Baby!
yeah right. We played bad. Do you actually think we can beat New Orleans playing like this? We got lucky. I dont know what happened to our offense, but we better find it.
that was close... that was damn close... When it was time to show up and step up, we did it. Next week i want to see Austin and Crayton as our 1 and 2 and Roy sharing a slot with Olgetree, just to see what happened. Cause i have a feeling, that would work out a lot better.
I don't listen to a guy who can't take his sunglasses off...

I think we just need some strong leadership. I think Brooking is helping with that on D but we need it on the offensive side of the ball too.

I am veryhappy!! Roy Williams needs to be benched...Oggletree. Let Barber heal and put the two haded monster of Jones and Choice in. What are your thoughts?
shaggy0125 2 years ago
I'm sorry guys but Jason Garrett needs to be fired and that's all there is to it. This guy does not know what he is doing. He doesn't know how to mix it up. He does things that work and then he abandons those things. What happened to the Wildcat? It was WORKING. Why why why are we STILL not using Felix Jones more? He can't get back into his groove if we don't play him. Why are we still forcing the ball to Roy Williams who apparently can't catch? FRUSTRATED.
We are in trouble guys.
tryin2understand 2 years ago
You know....I'm just giving them the year. They have almost already exceeded my expectations for this season so I'm giving them all a free pass unless we crash in Dec again.
However...if we do not get a playoff win...Wade must go. He's had a long time with a very talented team. Sorry.
thedallascowboyshow 2 years ago
I hear ya...and I agree. And yeah, Wade will need to go too if they fail to make the playoffs or if they get in and lose again. I like Wade...i really do...but he does not get results.
tryin2understand 2 years ago
Lets not get crazy with the very talented part you still have a very weak secondary and an average QB at best.
johnnorvaisas 2 years ago
Can anyone say 7-3! Who cares how you win as long as you win. What do the Deadskins have to show for their effort - a loss! End of story! hahaha. Next: Oakland on Turkey Day!!! Should be a gr8 game.
bbuck822 2 years ago
Dallas deserved to lose that game. Redskins played better in all four quarters. Yes, it is a win for Dallas but I would be very worried about this team as the season enters the final stretch. I do not see this Dallas team winning many games if this is the best they can do against one of the worst teams in football. This in not the season that Dallas makes produces anything productive in the post-season.
wakkywizard 2 years ago
Well...my offseason thinking was right along there with Emmitt...A little better but certainly didn't expect a deep playoff run. I'm happy because we are exceeding my expectations...like a 360 degree turn from last year.
thedallascowboyshow 2 years ago
I think what happened to us Sunday was we began to play the REDSKINS' game instead of our own. If Barber doesn't fumble and we score a touchdown, I think the dynamics of the game change dramatically.
I hate to sound this way, but we've got to stop involving Roy Williams. He's a liability.
What did you think when you saw DeMarcus Ware talking to Romo before #9 went out there to help win the game?
stansayer 2 years ago
I knew exactly what he was saying to Romo....I was thinking the same thing. One play away...
'It felt like we were in such a hole...but we weren't.
I just don't think we are playing top level football....but we won and there's tomorrow. If we don't up our play, we should beat the Raiders but might lose 4 of those last 5 killers...
thedallascowboyshow 2 years ago
That kind of ball won't cut it against the rest of the NFL -- you're right. But we have to see how much of that is NFC East familiarity and how much of it is Cowboys ineptitude (Remember how close the 2004 Week 15 game against the Eagles was compared to Week 10? 21-49 compared to 7-12).
stansayer 2 years ago
Romo in december, it's not that far away
you have a bitch road after Oakland
@ NYG L
@ NO L
vs SD L
and you'll beat Washing inbetween NO and SD
then we'll beat you to make you 9-7. You beat the REDSKINS by 1 point and if not for a dick head call on the delay of game which cant happen if the prev. play was reversed it's 10-0 @ the half and a 16-0 final if they make 2 easy kicks
LUCK

Raiders won because the Bengals shot themselves in the foot. Reason why the Cowboys will win on Thursday: Raiders are a much worst team than the Redskins and they dont have many players with no experience playing Thursday evening football.

now with philly, and new york hot on our tails the next three weeks will b crucial. everyone obiously knows the importance of the NY game, but my worries right now center more around san diego, and the saints. by week 14, and 15 this could b a whole new division.....good vid. man, keep em' comin...
1313stephen1313 2 years ago
i'll deff. take that win, i mean c'mon when its our worst offensive day this season, and we can still pull it out against a divisional rival its gotta say something. it seems like we either have a good day on the ground or a good day in the air most of the time. mad props to the defense today. now if our offense can just get on the same page as our d. then we'll be in the money...we shouldn't have a prob. against Oak... not saying we won't, but we shouldn't.
1313stephen1313 2 years ago
Romo is a good player with a good heart. I don't know why there are so many haters out there. Jealous maybe? I would put Romo up there in the top 4 this year with Favre, Manning, and Brees. Shango, another great video man. Keep it up and good luck to your Cowboys.
KingPhilip103085 2 years ago
Huh Brady the other Manning McNabb Rivers they are all much better then Romo and they all have what it takes to get into the playoffs.
1996 the last time you won a playoff game remember???

Gunshot! Wicked! Our offense is struggling, but a win is a win. What are your thoughts on Barber? Seem like he doesnt have it anymore. I love him but he not giving the classic Barber. The Raiders came back and beat the Bengals, so they will be on a high. Either way our offense has to show up we cant let up now.
How 'bout them Cowboys!

cbeckett22 2 years ago
Cowboys can turn it around.. We have all seen other teams do it in the past.. The year the Giants won, they were in a mid season slump as well, and then pulled it out at the end of the season, and started playing great football.
Hopefuly we can do the same when it counts.
Btw we WILL make the playoffs.
bigburley 2 years ago
Everyone in the world knows that if the Cowboys play like this in December they will not make the playoffs and if they do then there one and done. All I can I say is I hope this is there come to Jesus Moment either that or the Raider game. If this team can just beat the Raiders they will have their heads set for the Giants, Chargers, Saints, Redskins, then Eagles.

Witten dropped two passes, Austin dropped a couple and so did Crayton. Bennett was the only one catching all the balls that were being thrown to him. The recievers didn't pick it up until that TD drive.

Crayton (my boy) has been steady all year...outside of the fumble vs ATL (right?)

Yea, you're right Shango. Crayton has been consistent and pretty much has been playing better now that he is the slot reciever.

I'm thankful Dallas won, but after being so stressed out watching this game i did not celebrate at all, just a feeling of relief. Raiders are all ready on my mind, like you said "which team will show up". Skins could not score a TD, i'm very impressed with Dallas D but how long can they hold up?

A win is a win. The NFL judges, and teams are measured by wins and loses. Plain and simple. Anyone who thought that this game vs the Deadskins was going to be anything other than what it was, does not know NF football, or this rivalry. When these two teams meet, shit happens, and blowouts one way or the other are the rare exception. NOT the norm. Today was a WIN and it IS what it IS.
Have a great flight back to DC, Skins!
DizzyDougTV 2 years ago
I noticed how romo was off a little bit, but not by much. Romo was still elite even with that shot to the back early in the game. Barber was awsome today, jones looked fine, miles showed up a little late, but thats ok. Best of all, this defense is the real deal!
Now for roy...... i hate that guy. around 4 passes that could've been caught (and one wouldve been 30+ yards i believe) were dropped.
killwill07 2 years ago
Well today we proved Emmit wrong. I want to see Jon Gruden calling this Offense next season. Kudos to Wade. Our Defense played a long time and kept their ground. We have too many Offensive weapons to be a sitting duck most of the time! Thats because theres a fucking former QB that played back up his entire career calling the shots on this talented high powerd offense! There is a reason why Jason Garrett played back-up all his life! If Romo was a little more rebellious, we be unfuckingstopable!

CowboyBill22 2 years ago
We might b able to trade him next year 4 a 2nd or a 3rd and a player something. Bc those drops man i dunno. I just feel like bench him give Pc and Ogletree the reps. Bc all he is doing is taking away precious playing time!!!
