every song i think has a personality nick cave sings, he has covered every intense emotion and feeling possible, he tells stories and his world is a very wonderful place. glad through his music we can travel that land.
I didn't know who Nick Cave was then, and I still don't. Aside from this, you seem a bit schizophrenic. First you write, "It's cool, [you] don't care [about my opinion]," and then you write "Go spread your lame internet taint on a brokenCYDE or Rihanna video, [whoever the fuck they are]." You clearly don't have enough going on in your meaningless life to occupy your pea sized brain. I wish you all the best.
i love how this never loses relevance; From Her to Eternity will always challenge people's preconceptions about what music is supposed to be and to what degree it can also be an experience. Personally my favorite Bad Seeds album :) This was an incredible find, thanks so much for putting it up.
Phewwww, I thought I was being forced to like it. THANK YOU for cutting me some slack. I'm sure he's (they're) great. Rock on N.C.&T.B.S. - S.H. (Live, HQ)!!!

Such raves reviews. Wow. Apparently, I don't see the greatness of Nick Cave,
but I do know that this video... as much of it as I could stomach... had me thinking
WOW, THIS IS A REALLY BAD IMITATION OF JIM MORRISON.
What's good about this video? I can't decide which was worse, the monotonous,
melody-less "music", or N.C.'s screeching, grunting, or aimless meandering around the stage. Where's the talent? He probably wrote this crappy "song" too :)
@marcotulli no, he didn't wrote this song. anyway, jim morrison and nick cave are completely different in any kind of thing. but if you need melody to let you think that a song is "not crappy" this is just a waste of time.
@marcotulli I think what you need to realise is that Nick Cave isn't your standard musician. He's got amazing stage presence and this shits poetry ya know? It's sounds sinister and it's amazingly orchestrated. But sure, it aint your cup of tea. Thats cool. I don't care. Just be a little more.. Accepting of different things. Go spread your lame internet taint on a brokenCYDE or Rihanna video.
@Hirnlego999 yea thats funny when I first started listening to nick 80s stuff it does feel like he's "preaching" to me. I chalked it up to him being filled with the holy ghost ha he got the power :)

@marcotulli Nobody forces you to like it.
But Nick Cave is no imitation of Jim Morrison, he is himself.
If you want to give it another try, listen to some later albums.
