@mrsfujimori I am so glad you liked these videos!! I was really hoping they'd be useful to somebody. Crock pots are a good thing to find at garage sales & thrift stores, too.
I love your idea of saving trimmings and such to make the stock. I usually do a mass amount of chicken stock and freeze it but we ran out a few months ago. :( I should try a veggie one soon. I've never done it in a crock pot but I think that it would be a lot easier. Not sure if I missed it- but what setting do you put the crock to? Oh, and we just got back from the farmers market in our town today. I'll have to show ya what I came up with!
@brittanykay22109 I'd love to see how you make the chicken stock. I've only done that once & just sort of winged it... My crock pot is really basic so it only has a "low" and "high" setting. I use low for stock and cooking beans, which is like simmer.
Yeah, show off your farmer's market haul! As you can tell, I love anything to do with food & cooking. :)
