While I agree that the SNES soundtrack overall is better, I like quite a few of the GBA songs, especially their water themes, though while not all the themes are great, not all of them were great for the SNES version...

But I still love them all :P

I thought the GBA soundtrack was better for the most part. It was written entirely by the guy behind DKC2's music whereas he only did a few tracks in the original game.

On top of that, most of the original songs in this game sound like someone was overhyped about their arpeggiator.

I disagree, I think the SNES version has more atmospheric and intense songs. The GBA version has more happy and video game friendly songs and I gotta say I'm highly dissapointed with the GBA version music.

i dont have any of these DKC games for Gb....cuz my snes still works great...but uuuhhhh What the F???? why change the music??? These tracks are CLASSICS!!! They're a HUUUGE part of the nostalgia in playing these old games. Just listening to the soundtrack alone makes me high....great stuff

Donkey Kong Land kept the same soundtrack luckily. Theres only 2 good tracks on the GBA version IMO.
