@Mariose123 actually the Ninja Scroll movie came out two years after the Terminator 2: Judgement Day where the T-1000 is thrown into a pit of molten metal. The first Terminator movie is 9 years older than Ninja Scroll. However, encasing indestructible monsters inside of molten lava/metal/whatever is far more older theme in many folklore around the globe.
