@metallica96132 .....Dont feel bad, It's whatever decade a teenager is growing up in, to them, is the best and that tends to be the era of music you listen to for the rest of your life, for me, it was the 70's.
been listening to these guys since i was 17 haha i,m now 47 and man they stil fucken rock, riffs, words, bass, drums they have it all, coming from a guitar player and song writer myself,i still play this song for for a good old memory, lol
@Bulleribock hehe, sorta. im going through alot of the NWOBHM bands and gotta admit, lars gave these guys alot of hype for me. they deserved it though
@vagabond197979 To me this album is the best, although frankly Spellbound is better songwise, also technically as of more variation of riffs, but I just love the roughness of this album more.
...ladies and gentlemen...one of the BEST Metal release from those Epic Years...TOPT, Saxon, Maidens, Motorhead, Judas,Samson,Angel Witch,Venom,Vardis,Samson,Avenger,Blitzkrieg,Tank,Bitches Sin,Demon,Def Leppard(the first),Fist,Girlschool,Holocaust,Quartz,Raven....aaaaaaahhhh...
I was 7 at the time, but I remember my older ("twelve" yr. old) brother rockin this stuff & drivin my parents(mom mainly, lol)effin crazy. He had already turned me onto ZEPP & SABBATH so I was defintely a lil "rocker" by then. That whole wave of British rock was welcomed by my brother & I after all that crap being played on the airwaves then, i.e DISCO mainly...THANKS 4 THE FLASHBACK!
Imagine listening to this while sitting in your friends car, the cassette players blasting this album, the lights of the city are shining below, and the party has just started. This was a very elusive classic from the moment it came out. Finally got the cd. I hope Jeff still has the LP.
Any damn body who has the nerve to vote this kick ass song down deserves to be beat shot and tortured for the rest of their fagot ass lives. T O P T FUCKIN' RULES!!!
why does every old person go fucking 20 or 30 fucking years without listening to their favorite songs or bands, i mean wtf? you would think if you liked something soo much you would make a better effort to get it
@tsimon1234 who says it needs to be a vinyl or cassette? why cant it be a cd? and i just looked on ebay and just looked for 5 seconds and found about 10 different auctions for this album on vinyl for less than 14 dollars
@arrestedshrimp Personally I try to avoid buying stuff like that off eBay. They get scratched up and stuff. But eBay has only been around for about 6 years. So that is why the "old" people you refer to have had to go 20 odd years without actualy Vinyls/CDs.
@GRILLBUOY101 a true metalhead listen's to stuff as heavy as cannibal corpse to things as soft as led zeppelin. so suck it up and listen to what you have
i had one of there lp'sbut i dont know which 1. it had this song and wildcats and rendevous on it and i think a version of love potion #9 its been to many brain cells ago to count!!
I didn't heard this group ever. I only knew it by name. And this guys rock, better than the MTV rock of now a days like 30 secs to mars, my chemical romance and stuff like that.
When this came out Shepp boy's. The Lake Side Drinkers used to rock with this.Jonesy,Dingles, ET Ottrey, Knighty,Youngy,Guvo,Oby & That.Buzz was'nt it.
wow.... im 15 and i saw the art of the vinyll in the loft and thought i'd draw it for part of my art gcse. i now thought to listen to it this is f***ing awesome! love it!
This album just smokes... back in the day it was considered some real heavy shit. It still rocks pretty hard. At the time this album, Saxon Wheels of Steel, Krokus Hardware and Metal Rendezvous, Judas Priest Unleashed in the East, Motorhead Ace of Spades all dominated the turntable quite a bit.
This was the Tygers debut alarm back in 1979. Had the pleasure of seeing them on that Tour. They played all their songs fast and loud. 'Spellbound' is another Classic recording. They're still gigging and check out 'Animal Instinct' which has some great songs.

YEEAAAH!! One of the most fuckin' solid riff of all-times - I love Jess' rough voice - lot better than the sweetiest one of Jon... These were the really Wild Cats that roared into the Metal jungle of the NWOBHM!!! This's a classical lp that everyone should have in his own discography... Hail forever!!
Spellbound had more quality, I agree, but I dont't agree that Wildcat sucks. Songs like Slave and Euthanasia are real killer songs !
Saw them finally 1 week ago on the HMM-festival in the Netherlands and the gig was so fucking great, awesome. Both the band and the audience went nuts, ToPT still rock !!!
Remember headbanging to this at the Tuesday disco in Amesbury, Wiltshire. Cripes it was 25+ years ago. I'm now an English teacher by the way but not a very good one as my brain's all smashed up thanks to this song.
