Either way you can pray from the quietness of your own heart and still express it to other people. When you pray at church, the dinner table, organizations or any get together there is always an aloud prayer as well as a silent one spoken out in everyone's heart.
So if there prayer is truthful or not is only a question that God can answer.
The Lodr says to confess your sins, however I do not think He meant on youtube, in such a general way. Confession of sins for Christians is a specific account by account confession. A general confession of sins is only valid at the time of our salvation, therefore all of these little comment like " lord delive me, and forgive me of my sins" are meaningless, cuz it looks like you are not putting the effort into confessing your sins so that you can be in fellowship with god.
plus, not that i should put myself into a place of judgment of others but, it doesn't make you look more godly or spiritual if you are generally confessing sins on youtube so other viewers can see. It like the story of those who pray in public just to be heard, therefore we are told to pray in the quietness of your own hearts.

The song is about deliverance in it's truest form...from the heart. You see God see's your heart and knows all, yet the person singing the song is you. What you can't see is this is the heart of man, his essence crying out to God, to deliver him. There is no way anyone could do it on his own. @mrsdiamondchick First of all, this song is not about God o religions... the original song is from the band "The beloved" which all their songs are about from love, there's a lot of versions out now, like this one, and it bothers me that people had made it into a religious song, which is not. But at the end of the day anyone would take the lyrics at their own interpretation.

I love my God, he's the thing that keeps me standing each day and I have a relationship with him, not a religion.

The song is about deliverance in it's truest form...from the heart. You see God see's your heart and knows all, yet the person singing the song is you. What you can't see is this is the heart of man, his essence crying out to God, to deliver him. There is no way anyone could do it on his own. We can't do it with out him and everything in this world testifies to this truth. God deliver me... and when you say it with a humble heart.. you will say the last words with your very own tounge.

God has put me through many tests and they are hard but not hard enough to where you can't complete it... please help. :*(

Just got home from church and we sang this song, and the lady who lead it did it so well, I started crying -> all of my life, I have been in hiding. Only God is the one to pull me through my current situation whereby I miscarried my twins and now have to get a restraining order against the father of my babies.

This song has always spoken to me of God's for all of us. Despite the small differences in word usage, or who is singing the song. I will say that this is my favorite version of this song.

This is a remake of The Beloved's "Deliver Me", written by Jon and Helena Marsh.
Interpretation is of course whatever you would like it to be, religious or not, for me it's a very special, powerful song, but nothing to do with God or Jesus (or any other Higher Power).

The Beloved created this song in 1996 and Sarah Brightman's music editor (the famous copycat) remixed it in 1999 and shot it famous for her. But nobody had actually acknowledged the great effort and creation of this beautiful song by The Beloved Jon and Helena Marsh! What a shame. Millions salute to The Beloved.

Its a great song. If someone could just do one them great web videos of the original beloved version then we could listen to that (in clarity). And for me, it attributes deliverance to Jesus not God. In any case, for me (again) its about finding deliverance from that one special person and keeping the faith that in the end it all works out.......... dave x
